This was our first time at Simmer Down,BUT it will not be our late!! Love it!!
We called today about a large group and they accommodated us with no hassle. We enjoyed it and our server was great! Great food!!

Simmer Down is a nice place with a casual atmosphere. The food is great, especially the steak for two with salad bar, hush puppies, and fries. The service is excellent, with attentive staff. The wait time is short and the salad bar is well-stocked and delicious, offering a variety of fresh options. Popular and a bit loud, but that is to be expected. The Mahi Mahi and fried chicken sandwich were highlights, and portion sizes are generous. The decor is good, creating a welcoming environment. The only small negatives are that the lighting is a bit dim and they do not serve Texas toast or real butter for the baked potato, which some customers prefer. Overall, it is a great spot for a Friday night date night, definitely worth returning to.
