Cosmos offers delicious homemade breakfast with biscuits, sausage patties, and jam. The food is reasonably priced, and the drip coffee is strong. They provide a military discount, but not for dependents. Service is excellent, with friendly staff who go out of their way to help, such as jump-starting a car in the rain. The atmosphere is okay, with outdoor seating and a view of the beach. The coffee shop has great customer service and is located near the Gulf. While some dishes like beneigts were not well-cooked, most of the food is enjoyed in large portions, including breakfast burger, pancakes, yogurt with granola, and cosmic breakfast fries. Beignets, which are usually a highlight, were disappointing and not worth the $9 a piece, so visitors are better off getting them in New Orleans. The food may take a bit longer, but overall, it remains a fantastic breakfast spot with a friendly environment, especially for families with kids who enjoy the free games.
