On a short trip. Stopoed here for a snack. Beignets were on the menu. Was excited to order these as it's been awhile since we have been to New Orleans for the real deal. We ordered 3 orders to split between our party of 5. They came out in a salad size bowl. All 15 tiny pieces that were the size of a dorito. They were thick crunchy and just horrible. At 9 dollars an order, we were totally ripped off. We should have refused to pay. Get your Beignets in New Orleans...
I had a coffee here, delicious. One of the servers Mike jump started my car in the pouring rain. It took a while, not his fault, and was soaked through by the time he had got my car started. ??. I couldn’t think of another way to thank him.
Beautifully cooked blue crab omlete, expeditient but not overbearing service, and good music! Great breakfast/lunch restaurant on the beach boulevard
