I had the two carnitas burritos, which was very good. Good helping of chips and salsa. The salsa had a little spice but would be palatable for almost everyone's tolerance. Gena was very personable and professional. I will be back.
Me and my fiance have been coming for 2 months now for our weekly lunch out the servers are always on point and great food I love getting the old Mexican with steak or chicken it is amazing service and amazing food the young girl that brings chips and salsa got to know us by the people that like 2 salsa one for me and one for him to put his tahini in it they are wonderful and great great price also they do have military discount

First time eating here and trying something new. I'd like to start with the positive. This is a very good looking place. The service was good. I'd say average. We were served chips and salsa to start. The salsa was really good! It was spicy with real tomatoes and a smokey flavor. Unfortunately that was the only thing that was good. The menu was basic. The prices all looked reasonable. I ordered Steak Fajitas for $12. What I got was a plate of onion and bell pepper with just enough steak for a single Fajita and it was awful. We paid and I left the place hungry. NEVER AGAIN. If you want some good Mexican drive just a little further down the road to Avocados. It's 100x better.

The food was terrible. The seating had duct tape to hold the cushion together and when you got up you had glue stuck to your clothes from the duct tape. Wasted money and we pick up some fast food on the way back to the house.

Recent update 8/10/24: Decided to give the place another try, and it was awful! The chip dip was so watery - and at $8.50... we weren't happy! We mentioned it to the server, who snatched it off the table and stormed off. She took it off our bill, but never came back to the table except to give us the bill. No drink refills or anything! The dip was so bad, I decided not to order a dish for myself. My husband ordered tacos. See video attached for the cheese dip, also a photo of our bill.
We eat here on occasion and it's hit or miss. Sometimes the food is tasty and hot, sometimes not so much. Service is also hit or miss. If you order cheese dip and guacamole, they should make sure you still have chips to eat them with. We waited so long for chips, the cheese was cold and solid. Could be five stars with a little work.
Update - went last night and service was decent. She kept the chips coming and the food was good and hot!
I ordered the Mississippi Favorito, it was good, not enough shrimp, almost all pepper's and onions, 3 shrimp, the other chimie and burrito were the same way, all onions and peppers not enough shrimp. I also had a margarita when was way too sweet, didn't even taste the alcohol. Tasted more like a margarita snow ball than a regular margarita. My husband had a long island iced tea and he didn't enjoy it as much as he wanted too. Hardly any alcohol in the drink, more sweet and lemony than anything. If you want a cheap sit in Mexican restaurant a little better than taco bell, this is the place for you.
