I suspect this place is more into the bread rather than the bakery side. We stopped by late in the morning and the bread had been mostly sold. Ended up getting a cookie and a brownie. The cookie was a bit bland but the brownie had good flavor. Both tasted a bit dry. So I'd say either stop by first thing in the morning or stick with their bread. Service was good and quick, though. Prices, based on flavor, were a bit high.
Very cool little bake shop...the BILOXI Muffin was amazeballz ( ate it on way back to NOLA )...still got my Choco Chip cookie and the Jalepeno Loaf to try...The downpour was a bummer as I planned to walk around the area so till the next trip...I will totally visit again and grab some more treats...
Visited Serious Bread twice during our long weekend trip to Bay Saint Louis last weekend. The cranberry oatmeal scones are so delicious! And the cinnamon rolls? Divine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got a container of the sweet potato salad to enjoy on our long drive home, and it was also fantastic.
