Giving this place 4 stars because I called ahead to see if we needed reservations for 2 people and the guy who answered kept scoffing at me instead of giving me a simple answer as to whether we needed a reservation and if so how late he would take one. The food and our server’s were both great- but that guy should definitely not be allowed to answer the phone. If I did at the fine dining restaurant I work at in New Orleans I wouldn’t have my job. Really enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Drink was on point. House Salad- wish it had more than a couple of tiny pieces of pecan and one chunk of goat cheese. (Would have made it perfect.) Service was very efficient and pleasant.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening yesterday dining at The Sycamore House. The service was excellent. The drum was cooked perfectly along with a delicious almandine sauce. The side serving was the very tasty rice side. And the price was very reasonable. A quiet environment absent the usual loud music was a plus. WELL DONE
