We met up at Trapinni's with some friends for dinner. A good time was had by all. The weather was pleasant so we sat on the porch. We enjoyed tuna nachos,blackened mahi tacos, and side house salads. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a great family meal at this BSL restaurant. The staff was responsive and took good care of this large party. The manager, Dana, stepped up after an initial miscommunication about our reservation and accommodated our group beautifully.

Shockingly disappointed. Started with our arriving to find that our reservation at 5:30 PM wasn’t on file. Fortunately, it was early and the place was empty, and our party of 8 was seated quickly. Everything took quite awhile to deliver to the table, but most everything tasted ok. Not great but ok. The only real disappointment in food at that point was the crab claws that were severely overcooked and cold but the time they made it to the table. We didn’t say anything because we didn’t think it was a big deal. When our entrees were served, one was forgotten to be entered and the waitress owned up and said she’d asked for it to be taken care of on the fly. Things were fine for awhile but eventually it was clear that the waitress was avoiding our table. We asked about status of the missing entree and were told it was being worked on. Another 15 min go by, and asked again. We explained that we believed this should have been raised to management much sooner as we are now 45 minutes after everyone else got food. (This is fried seafood. Not something we would have expected to take so long to correct.). We watched the manager flit from table to table socializing and clearing dishing, avoiding ours. Finally the last meal arrived. It was fine tasting, but so late that everyone else had finished eating and half our party had already had to leave. We eventually got the ticket and were shocked to find that one of the seasonal appetizers (written on a chalk board with no price) we ordered was almost as expensive and the most expensive item in the menu-nearly $40!! They did comp the late entree (which we asked for), but literally no other niceties or acknowledgement of an outrageously long dinner with awful service. We were at the restaurant for over 2 1/2 hours and not once did the manager come to say a single word. I hate to say this is unique, but we haven’t been in probably five years because of a similar experience last time. Given it’s the same slow, inattentive service, I felt compelled to leave a review this time. I can’t even express the disappointment in a $250 dinner for four people. Never again.

Matt was a great server! We had the meatball tower appetizer…. I highly recommend! The grilled mani sandwich was also very good. They have seating upstairs, downstairs and outside on the upper balcony. The atmosphere was nice. Nice artwork on the walls and great Christmas decorations for the season!

Tonight something happened that rarely does. My guest’s meal was not what he expected. My other guest was not pleased with her steak. The manager was more than accommodating and more than fair in pleasing them. Just the level of expertise we come to expect here at Trapanis.

Stopped in for lunch Saturday and had a great meal! The Cuban press sandwich was very tasty, and the spinach and artichoke appetizer was also very enjoyable. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant had a nice layout with sports on tv's in different locations. Our first time there and we will definitely be back.

Based on thought we’d treat ourselves to a nice meal on our first night in BSL. We picked the wrong place! Very expensive for what you get and the food is absolutely tasteless. There is no flavor in anything and it doesn’t appear fresh. I’ll use the salad as n example … there were black and brown yuck spots on the broccoli, brown pieces of lettuce mixed in the green ones, and the runniest (like water) homemade, tasteless ranch dressing. Good thing I left my near $80 payment (for a salad and Mahi tacos) and picked up the food to go. If it was dine in, I would have given the plates back and left with my money. I talked to a local today and she said she never recommends Trapani’s because they are “overpriced for tasteless food”. Boy was she right! Wish I had talked to her before choosing this restaurant. There are so many restaurants to choose from with great food and lower prices. Do yourself a favor and skip this one!

I was charged $16 for a Markers Mark neat which is about $6 to $8 more than it should have been.
Maybe worth going to once but that's about it.

I am giving this one star which says alot. I wish I could leave zero stars. I spent $700 on a birthday dinner for my daughter. We were all very disappointed. Our waitress was awful she forgot our order and had to come back and re take it. My food was cold, my daughter had a hair in her food, Our onion rings had no flavor at all and the fried green tomatoes were bland as well. I ordered my steak rare and it came back well done and I ordered broccoli but it came with potatoes and had added withoutasking me hollindase and crabmeat on top of my steak, they charged me for.. The waitress was rude when we complained about the food. She never got the manager when we asked twice. When i asked the waitress to sing and bring the dessert to my daughter the owner of the resturant was sitting at the bar and snapped at our waitress and said our desserts aren't free you have to charge us no matter if its for her birthday or not. I could not believe the owner yelled at her employee infront of the entire bar over something so silly. I can't recall the last time I was ever so disappointed in a resturant. My daughter heard the hostess telling one of my daughters friends that everyone that works there is basically new because the owner cannot keep employees because of the way she treats them. Awful experience 😢
