Yes very good as far as Japanese you can get here in the Bay.... Ice people and reasonable for sushi

My aunt visits Yamato every week, so when we visited we had to try her favorite sushi spot. We were NOT disappointed! We had our young son with us and the owner made him a rabbit out of balloons! It was so AWESOME and went above and beyond. The service was awesome and everyone was so friendly. The restaurant was clean, décor was clean and organized, and we were seated quickly and did not have to wait. We got hibachi chicken for my son and he loved it. My husband and I split a vegetable roll, spicy tuna, pink lady, and a mardi gras roll. While we liked all the rolls, our favorite was by far the pink lady roll! It had a great mix of flavors and a perfectly crispy outside. The mardi gras was also delicious and had fresh, delicious tuna and avocado on top. We would definitely eat here again and try some of their other rolls. Rating from F to A+++, I would give it an A+++!

Good service, fair prices, awesome sushi. Typical Japanese steakhouse vibe to the place. Everything was clean and looked fairly new. I would recommend this place for good quality sushi at a decent price.
Tried several different rolls. A couple were kind of a miss. Just not a whole lot of flavor. But had a couple rolls that were pretty decent. Noticed most tables around us that night were not there for the sushi. Maybe their other dishes are worth going back for?
EXTREMELY GOOD great place to eat me and my wife love it. The only problem I have is that I always crave it on Tuesday's and they're closed I honestly don't know why there is bad reviews on here. Perfect for a date night the ambiance is noice.
