My wife and I have had many meals here….lunch and supper and it’s always been really good. Catfish, shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, coleslaw, fries, burgers, etc….anything that we’ve ever ordered has been really good. Big O’s is always a solid choice for a great meal!!

I have known about this place for years. Just never ate here. My wife and I decided to go out for Valentine's, and we chose a place close to home. My only regret is that we waited so long to eat here. The staff was awesome and the owner seemed to be so humble when we told him how much we enjoyed it. I told them that the Talladega Preacher will be back. Left them with a few cross pennies.

I never knew this was a restaurant just by looking at the outside, and however, it is very nice on the inside, and you can get fresh fish and seafood here also. We both had seafood platters, and it is the best oysters I've ever eaten.

Stopped in after going to an estate sale in town. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the shrimp and fish combo and an order of boudin balls. It took quite awhile for the food, but to us that means it’s freshly prepared, which it was. It was brought to our table and we were offered any sauces that we wanted. We asked for tartar and ramoulade to go with our meal and she brought it right away. The food was all delicious. Shrimp and catfish were battered and seasoned well. Fries and hush puppies were good. Loved the coleslaw. The boudin balls were good and you got a lot of them! Only thing that gave it a 4 was the quantity of shrimp and fish on the plate, only about 6 shrimp and 2 small pieces of fish. We thought that was a little light for the price, but even though we split it was enough food. We would definitely eat there again if we are ever back in the area.
