was in line at 11:15 today Dec 7 2024 waiting for all the food to be put out and saw the owner scraping mashed potatoes out of large mixing bowl with his bare hand no gloves on. I have eaten here pretty regular but I'm through now. no more!

I recently just left today at 2:00 pm the food was great everything was great. The waitress treated us nice with no attitude, The only problem was there was insects flying and they wasn’t just a normal insect it was fleas everywhere on my food , on my piece of cake. Even trying to crawl on my skin i give them a high recommendation to the restaurant but that is the only predicament was that issue.
Kid-friendliness: They treat kids nicely and treats them the same as adults in my eye.

First things first... The pricing is off from what they tell you it is. We asked about the price of the food before we started fixing our plates. When we got to the register our food plates were higher than expected. 12.99 was what we were told for any meat and 3 sides. Well the man at the register told us 14.00 for one plate and 16 for another. Keep in mind it advertised all you can eat but you only can eat once for those prices... He then went on to say that oh, that 12.99 price is only for certain meats... Ok so why not make that clear to your employees and potential customers from the beginning? Then I had the hamburger steak gravy and rice and the meat and gravy was scorched to high heaven. The rice was cold and undercooked along with the onions and bell peppers that just set on top of the food. They were undercooked as well. The greens were salty and cornbread was hard. So I exchanged the hamburger steak for a fried pork chop and low and behold the pork chop had this strange taste to it like they were using old grease. So at that point I was over everything and just asked if I could have something else. The response was no, I've already exchange this for you twice there's nothing else I can do and we don't give refunds... Wow! So we ended up paying 6 more dollars for 2 smoked neck bones with no meat on them. I mean come on. If you are going t upcharge people on the food it needs to be an upchargeable meal. This was by far the worse place I've ever eaten at and I don't complain at all. 0 stars
Wheelchair accessibility: In order to post this I had to pick an option

Food was good for the most part, only issue I had was some of my meat was cold and my macaroni was too salty. Was slightly confused on the pricing, there is a gentleman that stands by the register and tells you a price after looking over your plate. The service was wonderful, everyone was very courteous. There seems to be an issue with their AC, so they have fans going and their restrooms were in slightly bad shape. The banana pudding was amazing!

I only gave the atmosphere a 3 because I was with friends. Service a 3 because how happy can you be serving customers with the air out?? Now let's get to this 1. The selection of food looked good for $29 it should. I fixed my plate in spite of the heat, I took my plate to the table and went to wash my hands. When I tell you I encountered the filthiest restroom known to man, it was FILTHY!! IM NOT HUNGRY NOW!! Because your restroom is that filthy, so is the kitchen!!

Food was amazing!!! Just as advertised, this was down home, southern cooking from Nana house! It is set up like an old Piccadilly. I honestly can’t say enough about how delicious the food was. The service was great. The young ladies were so pleasant, kind and helpful. Very attentive to all of our needs. My ONLY complaint was the lack of air conditioning and overall cleanliness. Would I come back … YES! In fact, I would drive back here from Pearl, Mississippi just to eat. If you are driving through and want some great southern food … you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to MaMaw’s house from decades past. ENJOY!!! Oh, get the cornbread!

Buffet style food, so get all ya want on that first and only trip through the bar.
Food was good and plentiful, friendly staff, but the whole place could've been a little cleaner, especially the bathrooms.
Paper plates, cups, and silverware.
I'd say reasonable place to eat for variety and price.

Where do I even start with this place. When you walk in, there is no signage directing you down a long winding hallway. Start to wonder what the heck is going on. Place has a slight sour smell to it. No one to greet you and advise of the protocol...do you pay first, fix your plate first? Bathroom from must have been mopped with a greasy mop from the kitchen, very slick. I had liver, okra, mac & cheese and greens. My companion had backed chicken, boiled cabbage, cheesy spaghetti with Rotel? And cornbread. The liver was okay cause it wasn't overcooked, gravy seemed to have sugar in it. Okra was bland and undercooked, pictsweet frozen is better. Greens were okay. Baked chicken was dry, cabbage was flavorless. Cheesy spaghetti was okay. And cornbread had that distinct jiffy mix taste, maybe half jiffy.
Now let's get to the mac & cheese...it was horrible and may have been the sour smell that hit me in the beginning. It was watery and had unmelted shredded cheese on top like someone forgot to bake it and had that weird sour smell. Just all around not good. I will not eat here again. If you're thinking Piccadilly's with a new name...think again. We honestly considered going across the lot to Chick fila. We were both still hungry. The price was affordable, but would gladly have paid more to have higher quality food. Wait staff were friendly and attentive, which is what earned the place 2 stars overall. Boss was loudly reprimanding an employee from the cash register across the room. And no AC in the dining room, only fans, except near the register.
We certainly didn't scrape our plates, infact we left most to be tossed, the food was just overall subpar. I'm sorry
