Got there at 8:49 am ordered a chicken biscuit with cheese and my wife got their 2 breakfast burrito meal. Then we sat there waiting and waiting and waiting. People who came in after us were getting their food but not us. No notification of why it was taking so long just left there to sit and wait. Finally at 9:33 am the food finally comes out. Its not like they were very busy either. This older couple arrived about 20 minutes after us and got what looked like a chicken fried steak and an omelet. Our food came out at the exact same time. No breakfast order for 2 people should take 45 minutes. Safe to say next time we visit the area we will not be coming back.

We are on vacation and decided too try I do realize being busy but to wait 20 minutes and then have the waitress come by two other tables and not acknowledge you that's unacceptable if we would have least gotten coffee we would not have minded the wait on the food which we overheard other tables that it was behind we had to get and leave and I'm sorry to say I really wanted to try the food because the atmosphere of restaurants was appealing!

This was originally a nice little diner to grab a quick bite. I've eaten here many times and truly enjoy the food. Great food at an modest price.
However, the past few times that I've dined here, the service has been lacking. I've noticed a continued decline in service culminating in yet another walk out for failure to even being given a menu after approximately 20 minutes.
When you walk in, a waitress will greet you and tell you to sit anywhere. You find a table and quickly become invisible to every worker. Other couples enter the building and receive slow service, but atleast they received service.
We walked out, again.
While I had high hopes for this place after our first few initial visits, it is apparent that customers are a bother to the apparent limited staff!
Seek food elsewhere!

Liver was hard as shoe leather. Only had one waitress on Friday night. It took over an hour to get the shoe leater liver and onions

Very relaxed and country atmosphere. The server was nice and very prompt. Nothing really fancy but makes you feel like you're in your grandma's house and it's just very old school. The pimento cheese sandwich with red pepper jelly was amazing. And their coffee is very fresh. I would go back there again for a simple breakfast meal.

Told to sit wherever we'd like. Our warning should have been all the unbussed tables. After waiting 15 minutes without being spoken to or even looked at, we left. Don't bother.
