Nice restaurant food was OK but the lady that took my check was not looking me in the eye horrible customer service and handed the check to my girlfriend after she saw me pay…how disrespectful.

Bad customer service. I was overcharged for my meal and the server. Failed to rectify the situation after I requested speaker to a manager several times I will never go here again show.

Mr. Alexander is dedicated to serving fresh, delicious food. The Jamaican food is authentic, made from the grandmother’s recipes.

It was ok. Oxtail had a little sweetness I definitely did not like. Patties were ok.

Always forgetting food and condiments. Waited 15mins for someone to come take my order at front counter. Just to find out cashier was hiding in the cut on her phone. Order was put under someone else’s number so my earned points was given away. I always tip no matter the experience. Left name and number for manager/owner to give me a call. Waited a week and left voicemail, never received a call or a follow up. I believe in addressing the issue to prevent it from becoming an on going issue. Plenty of time was given to resolve the issue! Sorry but not sorry

I had a good experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors that really hit the spot. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a warm, homey feel that makes you want to linger and enjoy your meal.

Ordered take-out and when the order was picked up, I had ordered 2 drinks and when asked about the drinks, the guy there read off the ticket and only gave 1 drink. Dining in, not a big deal but when people drive to go get food and not get everything they ordered, it’s a waste of money. Money spent on gas and time spent going there. I understand mistakes happen but it’s the restaurants job to ensure the order is correct.

Jerk chicken lacked much flavor. Brown stew chicken was good. Rice and peas were bland. Greens were bland. Meat pie was good. Coconut bread was mostly hard. I ate the soft part of it and it was good. First time eating there and probably won’t go back to be honest.

Bonfire was not the first choice for dinner last night. We were headed to another restaurant but that place had an hour and a half wait. We were hungry so we decided on Bonfire.
When we arrived at Bonfire me and my date were the only ones there. I have no idea how long it had been open but it looked brand new. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I loved the lighting fixtures and the design of the seating area. There was also a dj that added to the atmosphere.
Bonfire being a Jamaican restaurant I thought it apt to order the Jerk Chicken. You get 2 sides with the entree. I ordered the mac and cheese and french fries. My date got the catfish along with the potato salad and french fries.
I was eager to dig in when the food came back. First off the fries were very crisp and fried to perfection. The mac and cheese was delicious. It was some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time.
The jerk chicken was absolutely amazing. It came with the jerk sauce on the side. Honestly, I really didn’t need it. The chicken had a delicious smoked flavor. It tasted like chicken you’d eat at a summer bbq. I can not say enough about the jerk chicken.
I tasted the catfish my date ordered and it was really good too. I really would love to come back here and try more things.

The server was very sweet & a gentleman not sure if he was an owner or a manager was very nice. Everything we asked for they were out of. We wanted the meat pies & they only had vegetable pies. We asked about the Coco Bread & were told they were out. Asked for the Mac & cheese balls & they were out. We finally settled on the Oxtail Stew. It had very little flavor & what little flavor we could taste it tasted like crab boil. Do not recommend & won't go back. We paid $68 plus tip & had to go get lunch somewhere else
