My husband and I were originally on the waitlist for Toasted Yolk. While waiting we walked down the street and stumbled upon this GEM! OMG, the food and service were excellent! Typically I’m very picky when it comes to food and my order is almost always wrong. Our waitress Lindsey was super nice. I ordered the chicken & waffles and my husband ordered the voodoo smash burger. I’d share pictures, but we devoured the food as soon as it came to the table. It was fresh & hot! Oh and did I mention the pecan praline sauce was a great little addition to my light buttery waffle. Y’all just go support this small business, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is a joke, They had 4.5 stars at the time we visit them about a week ago. it must be from their friends and family no way this is Cajun and Creole place. They must have a northern cooking. Nothing had the flavors of Louisiana.. on top of that it took forever to get our food and we had to send it back. I wonder how they stay in business.

I had dinner at Cafe 871 tonight, with a group of friends. The food was delicious and the service was speedy and accurate. We were entertained by the 90’s trivia game and overall had a great time. The prices were comparable to similar style restaurants in the area. We will definitely keep Cafe 871 on the menue!
I am from Louisiana and this restaurant has cajun delicacies as well as innovative dishes with flare. I highly recommend for good food, excellent service, and a fun time.

Brunch was not enjoyable because of the noise level. This space has no acoustics. When you add loud conversations to the mix you can't hear yourself think. It was early when we arrived and only two other tables occupied, yet the food wasn't served hot. Our server, however, was attentive and friendly. It's a cool space. Maybe just soft jazz or some other type of music in the background would be more conducive for brunch. Save live music for Thursday through Saturday. Michelle
