I give Café 871 five stars. We were reluctant to go in because it seemed like such a small old place, but were very pleasantly surprised at the improvements made. The food was absolutely outstanding. There are numerous things I want to try in the future.. Our waitress was so engaged and friendly with the customers. We will be back!

Some of the best food in the south and I live in New Orleans!! Extremely fresh and flavorful food with a NOLA twist. Highly recommend Lindsey's Surfside Waffle which was absolutely incredible and one of a kind! Will be back!
Came here on a whim and was extremely glad we did! Was surprised that not many tables were booked. Fully scratch kitchen where the Food was outstanding and the staff was even better. The type of place that deserves to be fully booked. Will definitely be back. The apple cobbler was good enough to lick the plate clean.

Ate lunch, it was so good we went back for breakfast the next day. Had cajun seafood pasta and chicken n waffles. Shrimp Benedict was excellent. Chicken crackles and grits, great. Shrimp poboy. Cheese ball appetizer, really good.. All great choices. Its not fast food, so be patient and wait for great prepared food.
