I had expected us to be going to a high-end restaurant and although the food may read as such, the atmosphere itself is a Texas roadhouse atmosphere. Having said that, other than having to get up and get our silverware myself, tee was attentive - although never acknowledged the birthday nor did we make it a point to point that out! French fries were outstanding steaks were good fried okra was good baked potato was good and can't remember what else we had but it was all good! I would go back, but it would be with my eyes wide open.

It was my granddaughter's 10th birthday and she loves fine dining. I knew this was a nice restaurant and fairly expensive so we gave it a try. The food was good but nothing spectacular. I didn't expect anyone to sing Happy Birthday but a free dessert for her would have been a nice touch, especially since I spent almost $300.

Filet was cooked to perfection -and pricing was on point. A little improvement on wine region selections would go a long way.

The food is delicious. Our steaks were cooked perfect. The drinks are refreshing. We had reservations so the seating was prompt. Our server was great and attentive.

Great service food was outstanding. I felt like the tamales were a little overpriced. They were great and that they all cart menu added to the cost.

incredible! Usually tell people this is the BEST PLACE to get a steak! Eaten there many times with only one under-par experience.

We had dinner to celebrate Father's Day. I especially enjoyed the Porterhouse. I thought I'd be able to finish it but it was quite large and I don't eat a much as I used to. The steak was perfectly cooked and the juice poured over it which is what makes Doe's so special. The hand-cut fries were excellent. No frozen fries here. One of my favorite places for steak.

I am writing this after I contacted the restaurant directly and have not received a response. Special family celebration and we had high expectations. Hostess was great. Server started off fine and then literally disappeared. Okra, salad, fries and baked potato were excellent. The restaurant was not crowded The steaks were a complete disappointment. The 2 sirloin strips were tough and the gristle waste was a third of the steak. The sirloin was also tough. We literally left portions of all steaks uneaten.

DO NOT EAT HERE. The only thing that was good was the Angel's Envy whiskey that was served neat, all they had to do is open the bottle and pour it in the glass. We had: -Tamales : we each had a bite of one, the rest were untouched. -Chili : inedible, very chewy ground meat and soupy consistency - Mac n cheese : a mix between velveeta and craft box - red fish with crawfish sauce : fish was way overcooked, and chewy, crawfish sauce was poured out of a bag crawfish were chewy and touch - twice baked potatoes : were ok, full of butter and cheese and bacon - New Orleans shrimp: overcooked, tough and what should have been a Cajun BBQ sauce was split and the butter hovered over the rest of the sauce. Not good. - kids spaghetti and meatballs - how on earth can you mess this up? The sauce was like water and zero flavor. It was like they took a can of tomatoes and poured it on badly cooked spaghetti. - Doe's special salad: is iceberg lettuce, a few tomato pieces, some carrot sticks, and cucumber, with red onions. It is what you would make with left over taco Tuesday toppings. Literally the lettuce looks like it was left over from something - asparagus- was actually perfectly cooked and seasoned - steamed broccoli - I am confident they just threw it in a microwave with a tbs of water. There was no flavor, no salt, pepper.. nothing. Total bill was around $180 without tip. We left there spending over $200 and questioning how this place is still in business. It's expensive, the music is way too loud and the atmosphere is imposter wanting to be fine dining. The only thing they got right about the fine dining experience is the price they charge. Save your money go elsewhere.

My steak was supposed to medium and I sent it back twice. I hardly ever send anything back. It never was medium, but I gave up. The waitress was excellent.

Food was great except for the garlic bread appetizer. There was no garlic taste or smell, basically bread and butter. Steaks were delicious, one cooked perfect , one was under cooked. There was a large table next to us so our service was slow.

I hate to be this person. But I spend good money EVERYTIME my family and I attend Margaritaville. We decided we wanted to try the steakhouse. It was a horrible experience. We were the only table in the restaurant with our skin color. May I remind the first table to be seated!! After sitting there 20 mins with no one greeting us; we noticed other famlies with bigger and smaller parties with the opposite skin color was getting service AS SOON AS THEY WERE SEATED!!!! It was so obvious the host had to come and ask us “has anyone greeted you guys and got your drinks!?” I said of course they haven’t! After continuing to wait another few minutes we just left. The host was a busy elder lady and she did at least ask. I don’t fault her. The vibes were off completely. My money spends just as well as others. And that wasn’t right. AT ALL! This was for my daughter’s birthday. It was humiliating. I will not be back.

Second time at this location. Something has changed and not for the better. Food was not of the quality that I expect for the price. Service was not as good as I remember either. Im from the Delta and very familiar with the Doe's brand/history. This location is not a good representative.

We have a 17 month old— so a great place for good food with a small child. Not too fancy so you don’t feel uncomfortable with the child being there. Just really good food in a cozy and laid back atmosphere.

Do not order this dish. It was barely edible and I really had to force it down. The lemon flavor was way too strong so it was way too bitter, way too salty, and way too spicy. Would eat here again bc my husband’s steak was delicious and my daughter liked her food. Also the chili was great. But I would not order this again.
