I have been going here since I was a child, for over forty years, I still get the same thing, cinnamon twist, chocolate covered, and glazed donut holes, Or donuts if they are out of the donuts holes Occasionally, I will get some cookies or bread, has the same great taste from years ago, and they still have the gum machine by the door, it is 1 of my favorite places to get my treat when I am in the area.

I received a chocolate cake for my birthday that a sibling got for me from them. It looked beautiful, was moist, and the icing was delicious as standard buttercream. However, I was so disappointed in the chocolate flavor that was almost nonexistent in the cake and icing. He even told them that I was a huge chocolate lover and when he ordered the cake to make it a double chocolate cake with chocolate chunks, etc. They said they could do it. They gave him a day and time to pick it up. He arrived on time and had to wait 45 minutes because it wasn't ready yet, and another customer was before him waiting for their order too. The cake wasn't what he expected but he paid for it. Honestly, it tastes like a box cake mix. We will be using another bakery for all our cakes and pastries.

Their cakes are not good at all. We actually ended up throwing two whole cakes away because they had no flavor, was hard, and NO ONE would eat them. After the first cake we got was so bad, we requested a lemon crunch cake, but Harold said they don't make those and said their yellow cake tasted like lemon, so we trusted him and agreed on that. Again, very disappointed. Even the children wouldn't eat it. My youngest won a cake from Coast Radio Group for his birthday, so we said we'd try it one last time, requested a flavored cake because we knew by now their regular cake wouldn't be any good, and they refused to do anything else because it was a free cake. Their right, I completely understand, but I gave them three chances to provide a cake that tasted good before I wrote a review. This place is not what it used to be. They're so bad I didn't even bother accepting the free one.

You better get there early for the best selection (they sell out early). Took my granddaughter this morning for doughnuts, petit fours, and to let her get a Coke in a bottle out of the old Coke machine. This is the Biloxi that I grew up in.
I was very disappointed in the outcome of my order. I ordered 6 dozen petit fours for a baby shower I hosted on Saturday. They were very dry and crumbled when you tried to eat them. The frosting decor was like a big blob of frosting. Was supposed to be sage green but came out looking like St. Patrick’s Day. I requested almond flavor and could taste no almond at all in them. ?? Boxes petit fours were in were dirty with frosting prints of all colors on them.

Always delicious reminds me of my childhood. Our birthday cakes always came from electrik maid.We ordered the petit fours and a king cake love their twist on a traditional king cake.Petit fours delicious.FYI they only take cash?
