I went to eat dinner at Gulf Breeze Grill with my family. It is a restaurant inside the Double Tree Hotel. It has an open area with several tables to choose from to eat at. There was a view of the gulf from the restaurant which was nice. I actually saw several boats pass by during the dinner. The waiter was good. He greeted us and told us to pick where we wanted to sit, took our drink order and gave us menus. After a few minutes he came and took our order. My husband chose the blackened Mahi Mahi fish with fried okra and french fries. He enjoyed his meal as the Mahi Mahi was fresh and the catch of the day. I ordered the Quesadilla with fried chicken inside. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. The fried chicken inside the tortillas had a really good taste combined with the melted cheese. It came with a side of salsa and a side of sour cream but I didn't eat my meal with it. We also tried the fried chicken and french fries. The fried chicken was delicious. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall it was a good meal with moderate pricing. It's also very convenient if you are staying at the Double Tree Hotel.

Great restaurant open to guests and the public with a view of the beach and perfect for a sunset cocktail!

Open to guests and the public, surprisingly good food for a hotel and nice selection of alcohol and local beers.

Arriving at Doubletree after a day of touring and driving, we were looking for a dinner site that was close and appetizing. Gulf Breeze is the restaurant in the hotel. At first we were not sure that it was open, but eventually realized that it was. Our party enjoyed catfish, chicken tenders and shrimp. Our sides were salads, steamed broccoli and French fries. Everyone was very pleased with our suggestions. Our server, though busy, kept checking on our needs without being intrusive. The view of the Gulf is beautiful. We are glad that we stopped searching the internet and found the gem under our noses.

Had the Biloxi Big Omelette with Sausage, Onion, Spinach and Bell Peppers... Fluffy and had a good flavor to it. The grits were bland bug s dose of Salt & Pepper helped that problem. English muffin was good too with plenty if butter. Bacon was thin but very hard. Pressed to crunchy hardness maybe? Fresh fruit was cantaloupe, blueberries and a splash of strawberry. Overall a better than average hotel restaurant. I'd eat here again when I return someday

Sat there for 10min before walking to the bar to ask if they were still serving. Was told yes and to just have a seat. 20min later we got up and walked out having never seen a hostess or waiter/waitress.

What I had was very good, but disappointed they didn't have the Seafood Gumbo or Rice Pilaf tonight...

This is a decent restaurant but the bar is abysmal. The manager here is unable to keep a good selection of beer or wine available and what they do have doesn't work or is non functional. They have very little local beer, they have even less wine and the liquor is quite limited. Very disappointed with the lack of selection and a manager who seems to be on auto pilot.

Breakfast buffet was horrible! Food tasted very old, fruit wasn't cold, bacon was burnt. Gross, and dirty!

This place is great! Limited menu, as it's a small hotel bar restaurant. I started at the Double Tree for 5 nights and ate here for 4 of them. Everything I had was delicious! Caesar Salad w/Grilled Chicken Fresh Gumbo Club Sandwich with fries Chicken Chandeluer (sp?) I sat inside and watched the big game in tv, and sat outside other nights and watched cars go by on Beach Boulevard. I think they recently changed their name and are rebranding/reworking their menu. I like it! Decent selection of draft beer as well as a bar with plenty of option and signature drinks. I'd definitely recommend this place.

No good so NO stars. I am staying at the Doubletree this week and it was rainy tonight so I thought I'd give this hotel restaurant a shot. I got the shrimp pasta alfredo and a sweet tea. I left a $3+ tip so my meal was $22 total and tasted more like a $3 TV dinner. I'm not a picky person in regards to food, but I do hate wasting money. Don't waste yours on food here.
