They don’t close at 730; I’d estimate probably 6:30/6:45. Lights were off at 7.

Also, bring cash their systems are down more often than not.

You come at 530 there will be a line and it’ll be processed slowly. Come too late at 7pm and they’ll be closed lol Fly, flight, win!

My wife and I ate here in November for the first time. Fried green tomatoes appetizer was really good. The ribeye may have been one of the worst I’ve had…picture attached. Cooked poorly, tough, and covered with a layer of butter. It was laughable. The manager made rounds during our meal and I showed the steak to her. She acknowledged the failure and apologized, but offered no concession or resolution. Really strange.

Best ever hands down! Sally is an amazing person and server as well as the rest of the staff. Can't wait to come back and eat here.

Save your money, this place is totally overrated. We had a reservation had to wait ten minutes to be seated, led to table we didn’t like ,asked politely to change tables. Five minutes before someone approached us asked if someone had come by. She took our drink order, my husband ordered a glass of wine which never came, we never got bread nor steak knives even though we ordered steak. We bad no salt and pepper and had to ask for steak sauce. The food arrived lukewarm. We asked for the dessert menu each dessert we ordered had an issue I.e. beignets w ice cream, no ice cream, bred pudding w toppings , no toppings This place should be completely over hauled it’s a disaster. I would NOT recommend at all. Worst experience ever

The food was ok. Not great nor bad, but I was surprised to be treated extremely rudely by the lady at the register. As a visitor, I won't be coming back to this DFAC.

My wife and I have eaten at Magnolia House a couple of times in the past, and the food was average. Yesterday I had made a reservation for a celebration and prior to dining we gambled in the casino (Magnolia House is part of Harrah's Gulf Coast) and each had a drink with us as we steped up to the hostess stand. We were told we could not bring our drinks into the restaurant (we had done so before), but could but new drinks at the table ... "rules" we were told. I am a Diamind Plus tier player at Harrah's/Caesers, but on top of this facility going downhill for the past 10 years, this experience us enough ti say am so ticked off at them I will now take my patronage to other, more welcoming, establishments.

Great steak, but longer lines here than Azalea

We have been going to magnolia house a few times a year for the past several years and the decline in service and food quality is very very noticeable. This peticular time, we were using the anniversary dinner provided due to our level of play in the casino. We each had $100 to help pay for dinner. I have a shellfish allergy so my options are limited, which is why I always look up food options online. The online menu needs to be updated because 3 items I was looking forward to having are not served anymore and was told it had not been updated in 2 years. My other half doesn't have an allergy so we usually ask for any shellfish to be served on the side. For example, the fried green tomatoes have a crab topping, please put it in a separate dish, on the side.I ordered the fried green tomatoes and they were covered in crab. I understand mistakes happen but we were very very clear on my allergy. Now I'm not feeling I can trust the kitchen staff so I ordered oysters for an appetizer.. I received the oysters and that's all. No lemon, crackers, cocktail sauce, fork... just oysters. I asked for, crackers, lemon, drawn butter and horseradish . I got crackers and lemon. I had ordered a cocktail ,never came. He ordered crab cakes. The crab cakes had so much gristle he was very disappointed. The bread, that we had to ask for was similar to brown and serve rolls from Walmart with fake butter, yet they were the best part of the meal. At this point, we were so aggravated we decided to leave. You would think that a server would want to have a larger bill,i.e. so as a bigger tip. Not this one. She didn't care that my cocktail was never delivered or we were leaving before ordering an entrée. We tipped 15% and felt like we were being generous. The very best part of this experience was the manager, Latoya, came by and spoke with us, as she did everyone in the room. We were just really ready to go. She is by far the best asset for this restaurant . To understand how horrible this special dinner was expected to be versus what really happened, we didn't use but one of the $100 food credits. It wasn't worth it even if it was free. In the future, we will go to the Scarlett Pearl's steakhouse where we receive fabulous service and quality food. Kelly English should be ashamed his name is on the door.

This is the second time we have eaten here it is not bad food it is just not what you expect from a high end restaurant.

When you first walk in the ambience is very underwhelming. Very sterile. They had a thanksgiving special but we thought $79 for a plate of turkey and fixings with a desert was a little outrageous. We both order entrees Waiter brought the rolls with our salad basically simple ones served in most cafes My wife orders the red snapper which she enjoyed however it was one filet instead of 2 the waiter indicated and the seasonal vegetables it were 8 green beans Tasty but definitely not a $49 entree and then the biggest disappointment was I ordered the New York strip supposed to be 14 oz medium rare what came out Was a maybe a 10 oz that was overcooked on one end but the sale meat at the grocery store would have equaled what was served very disappointing. Not a $56 steak. It was pointed out when they finally came around and she indicated maybe some deserts At the time of finishing there was no offer for a desert to make amends and we just wanted to get out of there. Paid the check and left. The place is very overrated and food does not match the prices We will always be satisfied with expensive food that is exceptional but this was disappointing to say the least. If this is the best Harrahs can do then Maybe the space is better served as a cafe

Quality of food marginal, understaffed. Servers were overworked, but exceptional. Would like to let chef know that medium rare is not well done. Ruined a nice piece of meat.

We ordered something lite, Crab cake and salad to go as there was a room delivery fee of $8. Salad came in a waxed box and presented with a hugh dusting of parmasean cheese and a handful of half-baked croutons. The price of the crab cak(e) was $20. Not to mention, the greasy, dressing filled fingerprints all over the box prove less than a classy restaurant. We have gotten better presentations and larger portions at a lot of other reasonably priced locations. Something to consider on any future visits.

Very rude staff

Had both dinner in dining room & bar area. They used to have a great bar menu & offered a happy hour martini, this is no longer available, instead just the pricey, limited dinner menu & overly priced wine that you get in the dining room.
