Me and my father went here on 11/19 around 8 pm and had the absolute best service from Tiffany! She was very kind, hospitable and carried on a great conversation with us about food, life, etc. Absolutely wonderful experience with the atmosphere and the gumbo was fantastic! Definitely will be back!

This has been our go to place for Gumbo for years. We eat here at least every couple months. The gumbo is always consistent and delish. We ate there last weekend and the food was not good at all the crab cakes were so mushy. The pickles were soaked in grease and not great at all. The shrimp and grits were super soupy more liquidy than anything. We were highly disappointed in this meal here. It’ll be a while before we come back. I hope they step it up in the kitchen!

Rebuilt after hurricane katrina, the restaurant is highly elevated with great views, affordable beer, even better at happy hour. The red snapper topped with crab, served with hushpuppies, potato salad and a great corn diah was oh so good. There's a cajun cream sauce, we asked for on the side, very tasty, rich and buttery, but a bit salty for us. Plenty of food as we split the meal and had room for an excellent slice of key lime pie. Service was quick and with utmost southern hospitality.

Me and my wife got food here cause she was in the hospital got the shrimp and grits and then the seafood platter hush puppy were not done the platter was thrown together oysters look like slime will never eat here again

We ate here on Saturday, first of all we had to clean our table and then we had to ask for someone to even take our drink order.... then the Mahi we got was overcooked, tough and the baked potato was undercooked. The cracker basket was left at our table with empty cracker packs and the wind kept blowing them into the water. This should have never happened. If table had been cleaned, there should have been a fresh basket of crackers, not one already used. Just wasn't impressed with this trip. Seventy dollars way to much for the service we didn't get.

I’m not gonna lie, as a northern girl, I just wanted some fresh, southern fried catfish. I had it here and it was delicious. We also had the steak, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We had a couple of cocktails, which were also tasty. The side of greens we had were okay - not the worst or the best I’ve had.
But the highlight of our visit was our server, Garrett. What a wonderful person you all have on your team! He was attentive, well versed in the menu, and just so kind with the most inviting smile - I literally said “what a sweet young man” every time he left our table. Food and service were great, a winning combo.

Are you kidding me? Where are you local people at Tuesday through Thursday night? Check out this sample of splitting the shrimp and grits and a beautiful house salad for a low price with this view! Make sure you order a side of the amazing off the grill garlic bread to sop up all that shrimp and grits gravy. I’m almost hesitant to post this because y’all gonna crowd it up like on the weekends. But there’s plenty of room here tonight. Miss Tiffany, our server was amazing and will fix you up with just what your tastes need.

Food was delicious. Both gumbo and shrimp plate had great flavors. The only issue for me personally is I'm a big eater and wasn't quite enough volume for me. At least provide more than one small piece of French bread.
