I love red beans and rice so went there and was totally disappointed. I have never had red beans and rice that tasted sweet. Thought it was a mistake but the wife's was the same way. The flat bread was good. Also they were out of tea and wouldn't have none till after the holidays ?

Stopped in to Parrain’s this afternoon with my mother. For an appetizer I had the boudin balls. With the spicy mustard sauce these were sooooo good!!! I then had the sausage and chicken jambalaya which was outstanding. It’s like eating comfort in a bowl. My mom had catfish and was very happy with it. She said it was cooked just right and she is a picky eater. Amy our server was quick to make sure we were never wanting for anything. There is a lot of great places to eat on the gulf coast and now I have another favorite place to eat when in Biloxi.

Holy smokes! Amazing shrimp po boy's and etouffee! Big shrimp and all ingredients made from scratch (that's what the cook said, but by the taste you can tell he's speaking truth). The dessert, white chocolate bread pudding was like a party in my mouth, and everyone was invited.

What a find! 4.7 on Google, we had to check it out. Small place with only 6 tables. Greeted immediately by Rayleigh who became our new best friend and gave us a tour through the menu. Absolutely cannot say enough good things about the food. Fresh, hot and delicious. This is all coming from a boy raised in New Orleans. Catfish poboy, red beans and rice, chicken gumbo, boudin eggrolls and the best white chocolate bread pudding I have ever had. They serve bread with the gumbo and it is deep fried French bread. OMG, I need a nap! Thanks Rayleigh, we will be back!

I love this little hidden gym! Best ever! Rustic atmosphere - not (nor would I want them to change) white linen nor overpriced like so many other spots in the area that are no where as delicious. Plus, I got to thank the chef - sweet lady! I've been here 2x now and the first visit was so good, I recently brought 9 of my Marine buddies because I trusted that the food choices would be so good and I would not get roasted by my buds for a poor choice. They are relentless especially after a few drinks! Thank you for a delicious meal!

Amazing experience from beginning to end!! Thank you Christine for the Phenomenal customer service and thanks to the chefs for the delicious beignets ? they were wayyyyy better than du Monde in New Orleans. They were soft and tastier so thank you Parrain's!! I'm so glad my daughter and I stopped here I'm full, sleepy and ready to brag about this place to friends ? ?

The food and service are very good. However, they don't serve alcohol. We had 5 people and although it is small they were very accommodating.

Parking: Their lot is small but there is parking nearby.

I wanted to take my daughter out to experience some food outside her comfort zone and we decided on Cajun.

Parrains was 100 times better than my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. I ordered a cup of gumbo, a bowl of pork/sausage jambalaya, and a togo container of cracklins and red beans and rice. Everything was unbelievable except the red Beans and Rice, (they made them sweet for some reason) but otherwise absolutely everything else was on par and amazing.

Food is very good. Pastalaya is amazing. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because it feels cramped inside. Very small.

POV: Don't work for this company. They will give you fraudulent checks that will bounce once they hit your bank account and then it will make your account in the negatives!!!!
