Great food and a hard working staff but like too many places I don't think they have enough people to service their customers properly. I'll be back though, the food is amazing.
Our only complaint was all the foods we wanted to order they were out of. The server cited due to it being Father's Day the day before they ran out of food and waiting on the truck delivery. They ran out of cornbread!!
Took 35-40 minutes after ordering to receive appetizers food came out very shortly after all the servers were apologizing to guests apparently the kitchen staff was new. My Dads food was lukewarm.
Everything was absolutely amazing from the food/drinks to the atmosphere!!! It was our first time but We'll definitely be back.
The food and the waiter were excellent. The wait time was a problem. We received our appetizers after forty-five minutes, and dinner was served immediately afterward. Be prepared to wait. Kitchen is slow.
We wanted to try this place because of the pretty set up and the food pics looked amazing. It did not disappoint. We loved everything and our waitress was a delight.
Deviled eggs were amazing. Shrimp and grits very good. Bread pudding was the best I've ever had.
The food was amazing and the portions were great for the price. Service was excellent. We are from out of town but we will come back.
The restaurant is very nice and has outdoor seating. Our server Michael was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was just okay.
The food and service never disappoint! I'd like to explore the menu more but always stick to my old faithful catfish and Gouda grits. Delicious. My husband's grandmother also really enjoyed the jambalaya pasta!

This is the second holiday in a row that I've gone to Patio 44—both times were horrible disappointments. At Easter, it took an hour from the time we order to the time we finally got our food...cold. For Mother's Day, when I asked if the kitchen meltdown problem had been taken care of, I was told it had - so I used Open Table and made my 2:00 p.m. 05/11/2025 reservation. We arrived at the restaurant at 1:53 p.m., it was about half full. We waited roughly ten minutes to be approached by the waitstaff. At 2:03, we placed our drink and food orders. My wife order three shrimp tacos and I ordered a cheeseburger. We received a glass of wine and a beer ten minutes later. We then proceeded to wait (along with everyone else in the place) for 45 minutes. We finally got our food at 2:53. My wife's tacos and cheese grits were got. My cheeseburger came out so overcooked and lukewarm, that it was impossible to eat. I politely asked the waitstaff to return the burger and fries to the kitchen and I'd do without. The manager, Angela came to the table, we discussed the situation and she took care of the bill. Bottom line, this restaurant can't handle holiday traffic and overlooks reservations. This is the second consecutive holiday Patio 44 has ruined for us. It won't happen again. Thanks to our waitstaff and Angela for working so hard and trying to take care of many upset customers. No way I'd recommend Patio 44 to anyone.
Thank you! Came for Mother's Day—reservations & seated immediately. Nice lunch & attentive staff.
Really nice casual date ambiance. Excellent service! Food was superb!! Their signature bayou nachos are awesome, the crab fondue was amazing and their signature red fish with Gouda cheese grits are just cooked to perfection!!!! EVERYTHING we ate was AMAZING!!!!!! We DEFINITELY be back for lunch AND dinner; it's worth the drive...Their Saturday brunch menu is also superb!!!! And ask for Jesslyn!!!! She was AWESOME!!!! She basically ordered for us and she was SPOT ON!!! She's was very nice and knowledgeable; just a sweetheart!!!
We had a great experience at Patio 44. We had the crab cakes and the redfish on Half-shell. Everything was cooked to perfection. I loved the Brussels sprouts as well!! The Waitress was new and very attentive and helpful. The owner came around and checked on everyone. We dined outside. Loved the fire/water feature.
Huge portions and it's was delicious and moderately priced! Our server was pleasant and knew the menu well! We'll definitely be back!
