My husband and I came here for a date night last night starving and the food did not disappoint. On vacation came across this place to get out of the hotel and away from the casinos later at night. Nice bartender, great drink selections, pool tables, and we got wings to go. I am a VERY picky wing eater because they are my favorite food and I’m from southern Illinois. I rate these in my top 5.
The best thing about our visit was the awesome bartender Alex and the drinks. The wings were ok, but I prefer naked not breaded and the bbq flavor was absent. My wife raved about the pad Thai which was a unique offering at a mermaid bar. I ate some too and admit it was damn good so I started sharing hers.
Kid-friendliness: No unless you like taking your kids to dive bars. It's a cool place for adults to get a drink or 2.
