Stalla is a usual go to for me, the decor, the service,& usually the meal is pretty good. However this last visit, the space looked good, the service was good, but the meal suffered. The portion size seemed less & the quality of the overall meal was off,my entree was room temperature at best. I even over heard the server discuss my displeasure with another server instead of discussing the issue with the manager or kitchen. Hopefully they get back to basics sooner than later.
We ate dinner before a show. We were sat promptly after checking in at the hostess stand. Our food was really good. I had the lasagna, and my wife had the chicken dish. Both were very tasty. We skipped the appetizer but the bread they brought out was really good. Our server provided good service as the restaurant was very busy. Make a reservation as this is a very busy restaurant. Also the web site says the dress code is business casual but people were wearing shorts, hats and blue jeans to dinner.
We popped into Stalla before the baseball game for a quick bite—and holy wow, this place is phenomenal! The food absolutely delivered, and our server, Melissa, was top‑notch. She was on it from start to finish—attentive, upbeat, and genuinely cared that we left happy. The atmosphere hit that sweet spot—refined but comfortable. And the menu? Solid Italian classics done really well: pasta, pizzas, mains—you name it, they nailed it. I’ve seen reviews praising it as “reasonably priced gourmet Italian” with premium wines , and tonight, it absolutely lived up to that. Big thumbs up to Melissa and the kitchen crew—you made our quick pre‑game dinner a highlight of the trip. Seriously, if you’re at Beau Rivage and need a great meal before heading out, Stalla is the move.
Spoke to the hostess at the front of the house. We wanted to know if they had gluten free food. She said yes the “pasta”, I asked further questions regarding gluten free options. The hostess could not answer. I asked to speak to someone else, she replied I’ll see if I can find a server who isn’t busy. A server approached and said only thing that is gluten free is the Penne pasta. The front of the house hostess should know the menu backwards and forward and be able to answer any questions. Secondly Stalla needs to get with the times and offer more gluten free options.
It was not good from beginning to end. We waited to be seated despite a reservation, as several walk-ins were accommodated. Eventually, we were seated at a small table on the wall, inches apart from other patrons. There was zero atmosphere. A hurried waiter appeared and took our order, but he was not seen again until we asked for the check. After a 25-minute wait for a simple pizza and pasta, with no food or server in sight, we were about to leave when a second person delivered our food. The food was just average. After eating a few bites, we decided we had had enough of the experience and decided to leave. After another long wait to catch the eye of a server, we got the check only to discover we had been incorrectly charged for a $50 filet mignon. Another wait for a corrected bill, and we were finally done with Stalla. It was not a good experience.
Tha atmosphere is very nice. We have eaten there in the past and it was very good. This time however not quite as good. They no longer serve bruchetta. The food was not quite as good. The red sauce does not seem as good as it was in the past. The service and wine was amazing.
Honestly terrible experience based on what everyone has told me to expect . Had a bday dinner with some friends and before we even sat down had to call multiple times for them to stop changing my reservation time for some reason . As we set done the apps were great and our server was awesome also , then it just went down hill . Waited over an hour for our food which was sitting under the heat lamps on full display to us for about 45 minutes . Servers heard us complaining so they began to rush the food out . My mushroom pizza came out looking like cardboard and just cold as hell . Multiple other dishes were cold also . Had to send back my food for a remake which still came out lack luster . Other plates were overcooked etc etc . Just a huge let down especially on my bday . Over all I can tell the recipes from the chef were great just bad food runners and especially those two goofy sous chefs who were chuckling about the whole ordeal like they wasn’t the reason behind everything because they can’t execute . It’s a pizza Lol like how is it that hard . The high menu prices with that level of execution definitely isn’t leaving any good impressions on anyone . Even had to talk to the chef before we left , he was very understanding but like I said earlier his team just isn’t with it . They ended up comping our entire meal so we just ended up tipping the server that amount . Can’t remember her name but she was awesome! Only saving grace of the evening .
Very disappointed with this restaurant. The service and setting are excellent but the food is not up to par. Calamari was like chips, no substance. Pizza ($20+) surprisingly is not wood oven baked, dough was greasy like fast-food pizza and tasted absolutely bland (come on! Italian sausage and mushroom??? It should have been a feast of flavor). Lasagna, same story, just bland. I wonder if the more expensive menu items are worth it but I guess we will never know because there is no way we're coming back to Stalla to eat Sysco food for premium prices. Do better!
Dinner at Stalla's is truly experience. It is true that it is hard to locate. To access the restaurant, you have to walk through the gambling machines, and that can be a problem for children as you're not allowed to stop as you walk. But when you get to the restaurant, it is one of my families favorites with something for everyone. I truly suggest the Stalla's Spaghetti and Meatballs as well as the Tiramisu.
Kid-friendliness: It might not be completely kid-friendly due to its location, but the staff are friendly.

Just ok. Overpriced; food nothing special. Ingredients don't seem to be high quality. Linguini super sour with likely processed lemon juice. No authentic flavor. Probably won't go back.

We ordered a Caesar salad to split and it was fresh and with the added parm delish! Chicken Alfredo and meatballs and spaghetti are our go to dishes. Served hot and flavorful. The breadbasket is always fresh. We like to sit at the bar and Tim is always friendly and attentive.
Stella definitely Not the same! Looked forward to dining at Stalla as previously enjoyed our meals here. Third time dining here since last year! Three of our 4 meals had to be sent back! Had to question what the chicken was in the Marsala! Steak full of inedible fat! When we asked for the manager we were told there is a new chef and they are working on issues. Until they get their act together Will Not return! Being Italian I know good Italian and sadly we had a poor experience!
Went to celebrate my (our) 42nd anniversary. Had heard so much about this restaurant and the chef. Frankly, the main courses were nothing special and even somewhat disappointing. The chicken that came was unseasoned and dry (certainly NOT flavorful and moist). My ricotta cheese lasagna was all right, but again, I expected the best I had ever had. I will say that the stuffed mushroom were DELICIOUS, and my espresso martini was excellent. Over all, I don't think we will be back. Much more hype than excellence.
First class restaurant, seated quickly, good service, meal was prepared correctly and very good. I had seafood manicotti and my wife chicken marsala, both very good. Expensive, but overall good experience.
The stuffed mushrooms were really good , hot and tasty but the spaghetti and meatballs were ice cold. Very disappointed
