My husband and I both had Oxtail with cabbage, white rice, ricenpeas, macncheese as sides with a side of sweet potatoes. I almost forgot we also had cornbread. When I visit from New Orleans Sweet Pepper Caribbean Restaurant will always be my first stop. Absolutely delicious and affordable. The team on duty were amazing and even recognized that I called before arriving.
Went there for the first time today. I was shocked when they brought out samples of the menu for us to try before ordering. The Curry Chicken and Curried Goat are to die for! Best Jamaican food I’ve had since I was in Jamaica!

We were in town for a few weeks for the Air Force and this place was all that my classmates could ever talk about. Not even exaggerating. The curry goat is AMAZING. If I were a local, I would be a regular. I will definitely be telling coworkers going to Keesler to check it out!

Drove past this place many times and finally decided to stop in for lunch and I’m glad I did. The food is authentic and delicious! Also great customer service they even offered me a sample.

Found this amazing hidden gem! The customer service was great. I was promptly greeted with the most welcoming smile and hello from Trish. She explained everything about the food, the menu, and even gave samples to try! (Without me even asking for any). The food was so flavorful and delicious!
If it's your first time trying Caribbean food or Jamaican food this is the place for you!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I joined some friends to eat here a few weeks ago and have already been back twice! The food options are wonderful and rich with flavor, and the service is phenomenal. There is plenty of space to eat, and the portion sizes are outstanding.

Met a buddy for lunch here and it was phenomenal. I'm not easily impressed because I am a good cook... but this place knocked it out of the park.
Having never been here before, I asked the young woman to just make me a plate of whatever she recommends. I ate every bit of it and it was all good.
Do yourself a favor and check it out. I ate like it was Thanksgiving. Ready to take a nap and it was only $12

I will not say the food was great but I shall say the food is GREAT. Very tasty in every way. Sweet Peppers has a unique way of savoring all the food. The goat is 100%, the Ox Tails are 100%, the Brown Chicken in gravy is100%, the Cabbage my goodness is off the chain. I tell you what just go by there and try it yourself you will not be disappointed. If you live in Alabama or Louisiana it's worth the drive. Yes yes yes. Thank you Sweet Peppers. The Staff is wonderful, which means that the ownership has to just as great as the people that represents them.

Amazing food and service!
First time at this restaurant and the owner was amazing. She gave us samples of the food to try before deciding, who does that when you go to other restaurants? I knew I wanted curry goat, cabbage, rice and peas. Everything has lots of flavor, you will not be disappointed. The amounts of food are more than enough for one person, I couldn’t finish everything. I will back for more!

The food was excellent and authentic! I would share the pictures but I ate it all! they also had real Guinness stout which is a rare find. Thanks for the experience
