I just went for the boat launch, not realizing the ramp is closed on the weekends. Being Saturday, I decided to go in, and they said they weren't too busy and were very kind to let me go ahead and launch.
So this is a pretty cool establishment. Went in for lunch on Friday. It was not that busy.. Bathrooms were very clean. I’m sure that on the weekends this place is hopping especially with the JetSki and boat traffic which you can just pull up and get a daiquiri, a cold beer. They have a great bar menu, and a very clean kitchen. There is a boat launch.
Took a chance and went to Ya Momma’s House for lunch. You just don’t know what a riverbank restaurant will be. This is a good one! Small, quaint “bar and grill” with gulf coast southern food… Po boys, seafood etc. Thursday special was a fried pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans, wife had roast beef po boy. Both were delicious! I recommend for a good casual meal accompanied with great service.
