Waited 20 minutes to get two I’ve teas. Ordered the snow crab platter. Two crabs clusters (one with a leg missing), corn (best thing on the platter and 2 potatoes (unseasoned). Did not come with butter for dipping. Asked the person who delivered it and she said she put butter on them. Had to ask for a claw cracker and kinda hard to use a plastic fork to open the legs. Watched another customer struggle to use a plastic fork to peel his shrimp. My husbands fish and shrimp platter was suppose to come with 2 sides(cole slaw and fries) and hush puppies. He substituted the cole slaw for onion rings. He only got the onion rings, no fries and no hush puppies.

Shhhhhh... Please don't tell anyone because then this place will get too crowded and maybe run out of menu items. BUT, they have THE BEST FRIED FISH I've ever ate!!! Shhhhh.....

I went for the first time yesterday for the Fourth of July, of course they were going to be slammed pack as I expected, I ordered a crab leg platter, which was $32. And my boyfriend ordered crawfish. We waited like 40 to 50 minutes for our food. When the food finally arrived, my crab leg platter only came with two clusters of crab legs and one of the legs were missing. The crab legs were a bit salty. The crawfish literally made my boyfriend sick. He stated that they tasted like hotdogs. The service was very good but quality and quantity of the food was very disappointing.

I was really excited to try Yul’s For the first time. But was I Highly disappointed. The service was great. they were a little slow, but it was the Fourth of July so they were busy. I understand that but the crawfish I had was by far the worst crawfish I have ever tasted in my life. It made me physically ill Four hours after leaving the restaurant. No taste no flavor just horrible crawfish. It is now the next day and I am making this review and currently still recovering and haven’t been able to eat since I left. I Am Normally not the type To leave bad reviews But this was just an awful food experience and not to mention I spent $100 On food that was barely edible. I really had high expectations for this place, but unfortunately it just was not what I was expecting. The environment was really good just not the food.

I am very ill tonight. Don't get me wrong - I love this place, though at times I have waited an hour and a half to be served, and one time I was never served at all. But the stunning natural surroundings, the wayer, sky, boats and bridge are quite the draw. And we like Yul. The smoked wings, boiled shrimp and cold tap have usually been fine. Today, Sunday, 6/30/25, I ordered a half lb of boiled shrimp. They came out strangly dry, and bleached white, like shrimp left in the sun. I have never seen a boiled shrimp look like that. They were difficult to peel, and when I did, I found they were dissentgrating to the point of mushiness and had the characteristic scent of spoiling shrimp. I said a little prayer and hoped they were well done, but they were still nearly raw. I powered on, like a fool, knowing it wasn't wise, as I was famished. I didn't complain, and tipped well. I am paying for it tonight in spades, as I knew I could. I didn't even make it to the toilet the 1st trip. I'm not a Karen, and not a primadonna. But service and quality control are very inconsistent here. I am a Biloxi gal and know what fresh boiled shrimp looks smells and tastes like. This was not that. Makes me sad to be treated this way and sad to post this. This will be a long night. And by the way - it wouldn't hurt to serve some actual authentic cocktail sauce (ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice for instance) with fresh boiled seafood. I think we, and the shrimp, which I hope are local, deserve it. Sorry, Yul.

The bartender, SUPERP!! I still left her a tip. So I went and got 5 pounds of crawfish and it was absolutely terrible. I tried a few, I paid, and thanked the bartender, and left all 5 pounds right there. I happened to see the owner outside omw out and when I mentioned it he didn’t apologize seemed to not wanna hear or idk but I’m from Biloxi I KNOW SEAFOOD! That crawfish was overcooked, recooked, or old! God knows I’m not lying!!

Literally takes 30 minutes for a server to even approach you, food is terrible, service is horrendous, an hour later your food comes out wrong, you’ll get the wrong check just about every time or be charged for something you didn’t order and they’ll offer military discount to NON military members to make up for their mistakes, was not even acknowledged when picking up a to-go order after being hung up on by the server cuz she “didn’t take the order and doesn’t know”. Nothing but a glorified food truck! Hard to support local when literally EVERY TIME you go it’s the same. Piss poor business!!

Shrimp basket with French fries, smoked tuna dip. Margarita. It was all ok. Nothing stood out. Shrimp was almost over cooked, tuna dip was a little flat. Too many other place to go to.
Yul and his waitstaff were SUPER FRIENDLY and the food was beyond phenomenal. We traveled from Michigan to experience our first Seafood Boil! It was FANTASTIC!

When I came here in 2021 it was the last place I visited before I left. Here again in 2025 it was at the top of my list. Crawfish, crab, etc. they never disappoint. Great $ value for quality and quantity. Scenery is beautiful, staff is friendly and attentive. Simply a must-try if you're in the Biloxi/Gulfport area.
