Took my mom here after a band competition up the road. We usually go to the one in Tupelo so this was our first time here. Mom ordered the BBQ nachos. While waiting on our order we noticed they have a salad bar, that’s different, Tupelo location does not have. The staff here are really friendly and professional. Unfortunately the salad bar looked old and unchanged from the morning.I wanted to order a salad but didn’t after seeing how unkept the bar looked. Things like the cucumbers and cheeses were dried up and the majority of the toppings were nearly empty. Mom said her food was good. The parking lot is spacious no trouble finding a spot. I’m glad they had a note on the door cause it was very difficult to open! Would probably come here again,I just wouldn’t get a salad🤣

Came in for lunch and ordered the rib tip plate. My sides were green beans and hush puppies. The green beans were mushy and the rib tips had more cartilage than meat on them. I've had rib tips at many places, but these were disgusting. I always try to support the non chain restaurants, but I definitely will not be back.

I ordered a rib tib plate today 09/18/2025 and it was the most disgusting piece of rib tip that I've ever eaten. The meat was so dry as if it was cooked on Monday 09/15/2025. This place should be ashamed selling people unseasoned, dried-up meat. It seems as if they heated it up in the microwave and add some sweet paprika season on it. The BBQ sauce tasty like vinegar. It was nasty. This place is horrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!

Took a day trip from Alabama to Mississippi, we stopped in here at Bishops for lunch and man oh man! Fantastic food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere. Jess and Sara were absolutely magnificent, we loved our whole trip, Jess and Sara made it better with their kindness!!! 🩷 Definitely will be back!!!

I was at the Boonville, Mississippi location and ordered a pulled pork BBQ sandwich. I asked the girl working at the counter taking my order if my meat could be chopped up because I can’t eat stringy meat. Her response was I can’t guarantee that. How long does it take to chop up meat?? I was a paying customer and should get what I asked for. This was dinner time.

don't use so much breading on the chicken sandwiches keep the eggs fresh on salad bar & don't laugh or disrespect your customers

They never answer the phone but ONCE n they closed 2 hours early because they were slow & wouldn’t take my order !!!!!
