Catfish Country in Booneville was a huge disappointment. The service was slow, unprofessional, and made us feel like we were a burden instead of customers. The atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming, and the overall attitude from manager came off rude and dismissive. I rather the staff be manager then the actual manager.
The food didn’t make up for it either — greasy, bland, and definitely not worth the wait or the price. This place seriously needs to work on customer service and how they treat people. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects basic respect and decent service.

This restaurant has fallen off a cliff. What I was served tased spoiled and honestly shouldn’t never have left the kitchen. The food was disgusting, unsafe- seeming, and completely unacceptable.it’s shocking how far this place has gone downhill - the quality is gone, the care is gone, and any pride in what they serve is clearly gone too.The entire experience felt careless and sloppy, like standards no longer exist here. I left angry, disappointed, and feelings ripped off. Save your money and your stomach-this place is not worth the risk. The manager is rude, dismissive, and outright disrespectful, acting like customer concerns were an inconvenience instead of a serious problem.No accountability, no apology, no professionalism. Between the unsafe tasting food and the awful attitude, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had.

Went Saturday morning 12/20/25 for breakfast buffet. bacon was raw sausage was soaked in grease nothing really tasted good. asked for senior discount didnt get it was charged full price. Was not Satisfied with the meal.

Catfish Country is our favorite place to eat every time we visit. The buffet is a must-try — always fresh and full of great options. You can really taste the quality in every dish. We recommend getting there right when they open because it gets busy fast, and for good reason. Definitely worth the stop!

Went for Sunday lunch, really wanted vegetables, but tried the pork tenderloin and some dressing. The dressing was mushy. Tenderloin was good, but you get a flimsy plastic fork and eating was a challenge with the pork and some food was unpierceable. The peas had a weird taste and so did the pineapple from the salad bar. The lettuce was brown as usual. My shoes stuck to the floor under my table, and then I noticed the floor in general looked like smeared dried dirt. This visit topped it all. Sorry, my last visit. Will not bring my family or honestly could not recommend. No hard feelings, good luck.

We were there around 7pm on a Friday night and I was told that I could not order from the menu at that time. The buffet was not enticing. The rolls was rock hard. Mac and cheese was terrible. Almost all of the food was cold. No BBQ for our chicken strips. In which I finally got up and ask for bc our waitress brought our drinks and we didn't see her again until we were leaving. I used to love the banana pudding. Its okay but not what it used to be. For the price it cost to eat here, this was probably my last time coming here bc I've been disappointed the last few times. Pretty much disgusted this time with the price of food and quality. I was regretting inviting someone here the whole time i was trying to find something good to eat!
