I waited 45 minutes after being told the order was ready for pick up. Since this isn't the first time for long waits, going elsewhere is easier. The food isn't worth the wait.

When we arrived the host and server were extremely nice (2/9/24) food came out quick and was super good. We went to 3 other similar restaurants and got turned away due to long waits but I’m glad we ended up here. This will be our new spot.

Very rough night. It was our second time coming, and unfortunately our sushi came out over 40 minutes after the other entrees. There were maybe 3 other tables at the time, I'm not really sure why it took so long. The manager and server were very apologetic, but I don't think you should go here without anticipating over an hour wait for your sushi after ordering. Food was fine after it finally came out.

First time I’ve regretted ordering pork belly. Really? Will not order there again. $8 via DD for these pathetic slivers.

Asahi is a wonderful hidden gem right off Old Fannin that is a Sunday go to spot for me and my sisters. The atmosphere is upbeat, the service excellent, and the sushi is amazing. We always get chef's choice rolls and have never been disappointed. In my opinion, Asahi is the best sushi restaurant in the Jackson area. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out.
Quick, delicious and friendly. The experience transcended traditional dining and offered ample opportunities for surprise and delight at every turn.

Ordered to-go so I can’t really say much for atmosphere or service. But I ordered scallop and filet hibachi and my fiancé ordered the salmon hibachi. We were completely underwhelmed with the amount of meat that we got for the price we paid. And completely disappointed in the fact that I got shrimp instead of scallops! I didn’t even eat the shrimp. It tasted “good” but for the price, 8 pieces ( I counted) of diced steak isn’t quite cutting it. You aren’t getting your moneys worth. My fiancés salmon also just looked manhandled and like the portion was small for the price. Eat at your own risk.

First time visiting last night and they have delicious sushi! The cooked rolls Black angel, Smokey bear, and Fried dynamite were my favorite. Once I’m no longer pregnant I will definitely be trying out some raw rolls. Happy to have such a great sushi place with great service so close. Husband had a sake flight and liked it a lot. Highly recommend and will be back.
