Albeit the website will say it’s open, as it does today, Saturday @ 12:35 pm, after you drive to the there you’ll find it’s closed. Unfortunately this isn’t the only time I’ve wasted my time and gas for nothing. I guess when you’re charging $9.00 (before taxes) for a little less than a pint, you can afford to say you’re opening when you’re not.

I’ve visited this establishment a couple of times before and had great experiences on both occasions. However, today’s visit was disappointing. I arrived with a friend before opening time, unaware of the operating hours, only to be confronted by an older staff member who raised his voice and aggressively pointed at the sign out front, exclaiming, “Big sign!” in reference to the posted hours. We hadn’t noticed the sign, and the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh. It was an unfortunate and discouraging experience, especially since I was excited to introduce my friend to a place I had previously enjoyed.

I went to the location in Downtown Brandon yesterday evening and the young ladies working were very rude. I was very excited to try the ice cream here after several positive reviews. However I was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere when I entered the store. I came in looked at the flavors and was stared at while trying to decide what I wanted. Unfortunately, no one said hello or asked me what I wanted to order. Instead they stared at me as if they wanted me to leave. Due to the unwelcome environment I had to leave and go elsewhere. I hope no one else is made to feel the way I felt during my experience yesterday.

Recently found out about this place an OMGOSH the BEST SNOW CONES EVER!!!! They are super friendly!!!! An the only thing I can say is that it stays busy bc that's how delish it is. The drive thru stays busy an the outside lines do too. But it's so worth waiting for, trust me my favorite is coconut with cream

The snowballs taste and feel like genuine New Orleans sno-balls because the ice is very fine and soft, not the jagged little ice shards like other snow cones. Make sure to get yours “stuffed” with a scoop of ice cream in the middle!

After many great experiences with the reservoir location of Flying Dolly’s, I was both shocked and extremely disappointed with the Brandon location. The service is more akin to a McDonald’s - if the employees will make you the products on their menu during operating hours is clearly up to their whims as opposed to what is advertised from the business. I tried to purchase a Malt, albeit close to closing - still open. If you will not be offering products that are available on your menu that shojkd be made readily apparent either through signage or postage on social media. I will not be returning to the Brandon location, and do not recommend it.
How do you service ice cream at a Ice shop with no cones ???? And there a Kroger right across the street... Duh?
