I used to eat here all the time along time ago. I stopped in today for a quick lunch. I got the fish plate. Desert and drink and it was $21!!! Way overpriced. Fish was cold. Desert come out a box. Nothing special at all for $21. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back here and don’t recommend here. The food wasn’t just terrible but $12 is what a blue plate lunch should cost.

What happen? The greens looked half done, the black eyed peas was hard ( like not cooked all the way) someone told me that the fish was fried in old grease. What happen to the fresh veggies...not can veggies?

We are new to the area and tried this place. I ordered the catfish. Even though there were a few pieces in the pan, they asked if I would like fresh cooked. It was delicious and the sides very good. My friend got the meatloaf and he said it was excellent. I went another day and had a great experience. Again, fresh cooked catfish and excellent sides. My wife and fellow worker loved their food. I went by this morning and got a smoked link sausage biscuit. Excellent! The restaurant was very clean. Nothing but good to say.

This place is an absolute gem! The food was simply delectable. My husband and I indulged in the beef stew for lunch, and let me tell you, he devoured his plate. 😆 The owner even made a special appearance to ensure that everyone was thoroughly enjoying their meal. The ambiance is warm and inviting, reminiscent of a grandma’s kitchen. I highly recommend this place. 💯 💯

I can't believe how bad somebody can mess up chicken fingers. They were cold, literally cold, not room temperature, but cold and dry as dirt when I said something to the employee, he just said, oh okay, wow.

I decided to give them one more try! It was a big mistake! I got the chicken spaghetti again and it was garbage again! It had soured..The pasta was soggy wet flour. No cheese at all, The chicken was obviously spoiled. What a waste of $15. I threw that crap in the garbage after taking one bite!! I will not waste my money at this place again! There's no excuse for this!

The only thing hot on the breakfast menu was the coffee & grits were lukewarm. I do not recommend breakfast here. I have never had lunch or dinner but after this experience I won't be trying. People were friendly.

First time trying them and most likely last time. The pancakes tasted like the frozen pancakes that you buy from kroger that come in the bag. But they were hard af. The chicken tenders and sausage were hard and cold. The sausage gravy tasted like milk with pepper in it. The biscuits were hard as a rock. Went there at 8:57 a.m. this morning. glad I only wasted $14. Should've just went to IHOP like i first thought. Absolutely terrible. For the name Fresh Market Cafe nothing tasted fresh. 🤢
I can’t say enough good things about the staff—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and hardworking. multitasking constantly, I never once saw anyone on their phone—they were fully focused on doing their jobs, and doing them well. If you were working the night shift around 5:30–6:30, thank you for your dedication and kindness!
The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The broccoli and rice casserole was packed with flavor, the Mexican cornbread was phenomenal, and the chicken on a stick was hot, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!
