We're just traveling through town and we stopped here for dinner. On the suggestion of our waitress I had a seafood pasta and it was amazing. Unfortunately, our waitress's name has slipped me.But she had a great personality and was really friendly. I might embarrass her, but I remember she had star stickers on her chin. Sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you. Either way she was amazing.

They were not friendly at all upon entrance. Everyone had this look of disgust on their face when I walked in. I placed an online order of less than $20 and left a $1.95 tip online. I wanted cornbread so I went back in to get some. For some reason the server had to get a manager. I was charged $2 that the manger took and gave to the server for two tiny pieces of cornbread and made some remark referring to the tip.

My group ordered shrimp & grits, the Southern breakfast, and a blue plate. The shrimp & grits were southern style with a cream sauce and just downright delicious. My pancakes were just right - crispy edges and absorbed the syrup! Something about my grits was off-putting, maybe the cheese in them. Everyone else at my table liked them.
Our server was kind and attentive. On top of refills, pre-bussing, knowledgeable about the menu.
My adult son is disabled. When he went to the bathroom, the toilet began to overflow, before he even flushed. He struggled to get out of the bathroom because it had flooded all the way out into the hallway and his legs aren’t quite steady enough to walk on wet floors. He said he heard water dripping when he was in the stall but didn’t know it was a problem. We waited until the women’s room was free and I stood outside while he went in there. He told me there’s a leak in the handicap stall in the women’s room as well, with water dripping into a bucket. While I was standing outside, a cook was cleaning up the bathroom mess.
Will not be back. This incident was beyond embarrassing for both of us and scary for him, and likely a known problem, given the bucket in the women’s room.

Food is great and everything comes out quick and hot! It’s so refreshing seeing a place with young workers instead of a bunch of older staff. I’m glad this place gives the younger generation opportunities and a place to work instead of turning them away. I’ve been twice and both times I was served by a young man named Josh. The service was great and he was so kind and understanding of my young daughter’s complicated order! It came out just how she wanted it and she loved it! I WILL recommend this place to my friends and family and i will definitely be coming back myself as well!
