Had a wonderful time on their safari feeding the animals as well as enjoying the products from there store in addition to having a delicious meal at their steakhouse. Highly recommend renting their jeeps for the safari as the feed gets everywhere when feeding the animals that get very close and personal (which I love)! The only safari park I have been to where the bison (buffalo) come to your car for a snack.
I know McClain’s has new ownership now, so I can’t really speak to that. Food at the buffet is okay. Nothing that’s just like amazing or anything. The safari is pretty cool. Loved all the animals! The food gets everywhere so I would recommend booking one of their vehicles unless you want food in every nook and cranny ? they have a petting zoo as well and a small area inside the building that has animals such as lemurs, etc.
We stayed in the White House on property and also in the cabins. The rooms and property were beautiful and well maintained.
The safari is a fun adventure and the animals appear happy and healthy.
The restaurant buffet, bar, and shop are clean and the food was delicious.
I highly recommend visiting this resort.
