I went inside Newk's to pick up an online order. I gave the employee the name on the order, Debbie, and the server gave me two Newk's drink glasses. I filled the drinks and she offered me a carry out container. I said no thanks...I am environmentally conscience, that is such a waste for two drinks!! I took the drinks out to my vehicle so I'd be able to carry the food out when it was ready. I went back in and she told me my order was ready. I realized that the bag was not large enough for my order, although it had the name Debra on it. I told her that was not the correct order and she checked with the employees who were preparing to go orders and realized that she had given me to go glasses, in error. That order was also for a Debra. The order I was picking up did not have to go drinks (I was only picking up the order, so I did not know this)...she told me I would have to pay for the drinks, or go outside and get the drinks out of my car and bring them back inside. I had to go back outside and get the drinks. I think this was VERY POOR customer service!! She made the mistake, and the glasses had already been filled and handled by me....what exactly was she going to do with them at this point? The meat on the Newk's Q was very skimpy and the chicken and dumpling soup was not very good.....the kid's cheese pizza is rediculous...where's the cheese??? I did not receive the applesauce that was shown on the online picture of the meal...but I did get a kids cup for a drink. Woo-hoo!!

Visited Newk’s this evening for soup and sandwich. As usual sandwiches are good. Most of the soups I have tried are above average for fast food restaurant BUT tonight I ordered chicken and dumplings for first time. Will not order again.Cup of soup does not look like advertisement. It was thin chicken broth with only 3 solid bits of chicken and just 5 “dumplings” that were each about the size of a small green pea adding little taste. I had to purposely look for them in a cup of broth. Either I received the dregs of the pot which had nothing left but broth or this menu item is grossly misrepresented in the advertisement. Either way, AVOID this menu item unless you have the sniffles and need thin chicken soup.

We were passing through and needed a quick place for lunch! Food and service were good. Nice place to stop and eat when you're on a road trip!
I paid 15.00 for a half salad with extra ranch. That tossed it with very little ranch and didn’t receive my extra ranch. My daughter went to pickup the order and had to turn around to get the drinks so I wasn’t sending her back a second time for the ranch.

Its a hit and miss with this location depends on who is working such a shame with the wrong crew the restaurant can really take a dive, but the ice tea is always great ?

Ordered a Chef salad. The entire salad didn't cover the bowl. She stated that it's weighted. First off I didn't ask you to put the dressing on my salad, secondly you don't give enough to weigh. You can't find the meat on the salad. Totally rude front counter associates. Go to Rameys and make your own.
Clean location, great product - as usual.Grab and Go counter had a long line so we didn't get desserts on our way out.
