Food was marginal at best. Pork loin tough and dry. Chicken parmigiana very dry and very little marinara sauce. Won't go back even though the atmosphere is great. Bad service too.

Awful. Got there an hour before closing time and ordered, food took 45 minutes to come out, no big deal. My rice was under cooked in my red beans and rice. My wife found a crawfish shell in her seafood pasta. Service was okay. I paid $48 for my meal tipped the waiter after waiting 20 minutes to be checked on again and let him know my complaints. After kindly refusing a slice of pie for my troubles I was given a handful of 10% off coupons like they do this on a routine. New to the area and wanted to try a highly rated restaurant but I feel like now I’m just gonna stick to what I know. Oh and my cheese on my broccoli and cheese wasn’t even melted. Overall review since I can only give one star, 5/50 stars.

Great atmosphere great food and live music after 6pm. The restrooms was sparkling clean. I never eat at a place that doesn't clean their restaurant from top to bottom and that includes the Restrooms.

We used to like this place, but Simone they have changed owners, it is horrible. Just horrible. The country fried steak is an actual non-tenderized steak fried until it is shoe leather. The quesadilla is full of bacon (not at all good). The mashed potatoes taste like water. Just say no.

Awesome little restaurant serving up some great dishes! Prime rib and beef medallions were delicious. Nice quiet setting as well!
New management knows what they are doing! My wife got the grown up grilled cheese and I got the Buda Gouda burger. The bun was fluffy and amazing, burger was cooked perfectly. Hand cut fries with just the right amount of crisp. The grown up grilled cheese has a fried green tomato in it. The cheese is home made pimento cheese. It was amazing! Very reasonable pricing, and great food!

Saw add on facebook for chicken fried steak, a goodone is hard to find in the area. I know ive litteral driven to Dallas for one. To say the least.this was not a good one. The supposed gravy was more like a weak soup.the steak did not resemble the one avertized on face book, the potatoes tasted instant. Maybe a drive to texas and the Cotton patch is needed. Very dissapointed.

UPDATED 8/2/2019 Came out this Old Fannin Restaurant under new Management and wow what a nice change well lighted staff are very friendly and happy to serve you meal was wonderful. And ez on pocketbook . Very clean and well train staff. Hey All After a long day my wife and my self stop our day and went to Old Fannin Restaurant .Our first time here and we found a first-class restaurant serving wonderful excellent awesome food.My Wife had the the country fried steak with mashed potatoes.I had chicken fettuccine and a slice of garlic bread.We had an appetizer of mozzarella sticks made fresh to order and then after dinner we had a white chocolate bread pudding which would knock your socks off check out the pictures you will see it's an awesome place come down to the old Fannin restaurant and enjoy a good sit-down good meal
