Brisket and sides are perfect, the rifle were just a tad dry ,but the smoke and seasoning was perfect.... each individual has their personal preferences.
Vegetarian options: Blackeyed peas and backed potatoe casserole was well done.

The food was very good, the sauce was a let down, I would suggest you get your meat dry and use your own sauce, wings bbq sweet potato fries okra , very large variety, awesome spot, beware of the sauce

The lima beans & turnip greens must have in seasoned with diesel fuel. I don't think Gordon Ramsay would give this place a thumbs up Nice and polite waitress I will never return again. Sorry but I expected better

Went there last night with coworker and gotta a lot of unwelcoming stares from an employee and half the guest being a black man. When we were being seated i saw everyone turn their heads at me with a disdain look on their faces. One guy looked very pissed of and his wife seemed to carry the same energy. Food wasn't bad but it wasn't good enough for me to ever want to go back. With all being said, it was the experience I expected. Not surprised, just disappointed

Ordered 2 brisket sandwiches on toast. One sandwich meat and toast separate. Both sandwiches came with regular white bread. Very disappointing. Brisket lacked flavor and definitely needed sauce. There's an old saying in the smoking community "if you need sauce, you're hiding something". We they need to hide that bland tase.

I've eaten here many times, I live close by. I love the food, and I've always liked the staff. My issue is that when I come in there, I like to get the 2 or 3 meat combo and I just want chicken. Not ribs, brisket or anything else, I just want my meat to be chicken but this has apparently been an issue the past two times I've come in. I came in for lunch today, I ordered the 2 meat and asked for both to be chicken and I was told I MUST order a different meat. If I am paying $20 for lunch, which is pretty expensive, when must I be required to pick a separate meat? I've worked in plenty of kitchens. There is zero difficulty in just doing two servings of chicken instead of one.
For these reasons, I will not be coming back. I like to be fair. The food is excellent, the sop sauce with the chicken is incredible. The staff are always really nice and its because of this I'm willing to pay a little more but what I cannot tolerate is being told I have no choice but to order a different meat I didn't want. If the staff isn't willing to go through the very minimal effort of turning around and asking the kitchen to do double chicken instead, then I'm not willing to spend $20 on a meal.
