This is a greasy spoon type diner. The staff was friendly and helpful. I witnessed the staff cleaning the grease from the range hoods and particles falling on the grill area. I saw this after I had finished eating. Not a good look!
Spillway Diner doesn’t disappoint as I have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner from this restaurant. I usually get the “Super Bacon Cheeseburger” with Homemade Fries! The burger that they grill is tied with the “Huey’s Cheeseburger” (Memphis, Tenn burger joint ((they serve “steak fries” that are not homemade, in my opinion)). Ordered to go. Was able to order immediately after walking in and the food was ready in less than 10 mins. Hand cut fries were so good and the Philly cheesesteak on toast was the best I’ve had in a long time. The girl working the register was nice and attentive and the price was very reasonable. Everything was perfect.
