Probably the worst food and pricing I’ve ever had.We got there and waited an HOUR for our $32 Shareable Platter that had a grand total of 4 of the smallest catfish I’ve ever seen and 6 TINY shrimp and fries that were mushy and slaw that tasted old and store bought.Note: the platter it was served on was the same plate that the single serving of catfish comes on. Probably the same amount too.I wouldn’t be as mad if we didn’t wait an hour for the smallest portion size ever and if it wasn’t $32 for something that should’ve been maybe $18.Lower your prices or up your portion sizes!

First time at Sunset Grill tonight and it was just what I needed! Fun place for a date night or with friends. My husband got the Ribeye with a baked potato and asparagus. He said the ribeye rivals Tico’s! it was great. I tried the pork belly tacos and loved it. Only thing I would do different is order more of that tangy sauce on the side. It was DELISH. Our server, Bobbie recommended the chargrilled oysters for an appetizer and I’m so glad she did. They were some of the best in town. Can’t wait to come back and hopefully have Bobbie as our waitress again!

We enjoyed the friendly and fun atmosphere at Sunset Grill. There was a nice Karaoke Contest taking place and the locals were cool. We all had a nice time.I ate the Fried Shrimp, Baked Potato & Green Beans. While my Aunts had Gumbo & Fried Mushrooms. Great outdoor area where you can dock your boat. Marina situated nearby and so are the Gators. We didn't see any but were told thats a good place to see them.

Only 3 people in our party. We went for dinner. First time, Not crowded at all, were seated, ordered our dinner and waited over an hour and 20 minutes for our food. Less than half tables were occupied. Our waitress apologized and said our meal would be discounted - it wasn’t!! Probably won’t be going back

I’ve passed this restaurant many times but never took the time to stop. Today my cousin and I decided to try it.The atmosphere is great and the service was also but the food was mediocre and the portion size for price was very inadequate. We both ordered the shrimp platter which consisted of 8 shrimp that were overcooked and a side. We added a piece of fish for $2. The fish was thumb size; 1 or 2 bites it’s gone. I ordered asparagus as my side and I’ll just let you view it on photo. I paid $24 for that plate. My cousins fries were overcooked and full of grease. She said she wasn’t going to eat them so I called server and informed her and she ordered the sweet potato fries instead.The onion ring appetizer and the sweet potato fries were good. The check was $70. I don’t mind spending $70 and do it frequently because I travel quite a bit but the food was not worth it, at all.The restaurant itself is very nice and I love the outdoor seating and view. Seems like a great place to grab an appetizer and drink.

Thought this was a good place to plan a birthday party but bad idea. This is a great place to go if your looking for a fight. Go here only if you’re wanting a true bar room experience. If u drink at this establishment and have a great time u will be rewarded by bouncers starting a fight at the door.It will literally be the time of your life if u wanna curse, scream, fight, and have the law called on u.We got drunk and got a little loud but honestly could not leave due to bouncers agging on trouble. I would put this place in the same category as Pops Around the Corner, any other hole in the wall that u need enter at your on risk

It was our first time checking out sunset grill. Cool spot to park your boat and eat, but the service was the worst service I have experienced in the restaurant industry. Our server was rude when asked questions about the menu and checked on our table one time…was not impressed the slightest bit. We also experienced another table frustrated with the same issue after waiting 10+ minutes for a drink order to be taken. Why request a 5 star price for food when your service is below 1 star? Drive to Pelican Cove or Shaggy’s for a better experience…and cheaper prices. Bad service will kill a place.

We've been here twice. Lunch today for our second visit. We had dinner last weekend and the redfish special was amazing. We've been very happy with everything...the only complaint is the green beans had sugar in them, quite a bit...that was very disappointing as they looked delicious with meat in them just like we love. The juice from the green beans got on my other food as well and made it sweet. Won't be ordering green beans again.
