Very nice local place with options other than fried food. We happened upon the place on our drive to New Orleans. I had the sweet potato hash for breakfast which was delicious. They are accommodating for vegetarian diets. The service was friendly and helpful. I would have liked to try the lunch menu as there were several options that looked good. I highly recommend this place.

Our first time here. The food was very good and the time taken to talk to us about their Gluten Free options was very appreciated!I had the Shrimp Risotto and my wife had the Glazed Pork Chop Plate. We will be back!!Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten Free options.

I was looking for a healthy quick meal and ordered a lean beef bowl with a side of sriracha sauce. Picked up in drive through and it had a thin Asian sauce they added for $1 - not spicy. They got me some real sriracha. Even with both sauces it was pretty bland. The beef was ground meat and not well seasoned. Tiny slices of avocado and egg weren't enough to give it flavor. I ate about half and gave up. Maybe I just chose the wrong item, but for $11 it was weak (and not that healthy with hamburger and white rice).

I was visiting a friend who lives here and wanted to try certain restaurants because saw a few owners discuss on news during local event.If traveling on 55 South or North, Brookhaven is a great place to stop for a nice meal!We ended up here because most didn’t open on Saturday until 5pm.There is limited parking in front but there are more spaces if you drive to read of building. They have a very nice patio on back and you can also enter restaurant. What I didn’t like is a family had a dog in stroller while eating on balcony. Although they had it closed, no dogs should be allowed at a restaurant, PERIOD!!The server, Lydia was prompt and very friendly. We didn’t wait very long for our food to come out. Customers next to us who frequent restaurant ordered pizza and informed us of certain dishes they liked best. Which included the blackened chicken that I ordered. My friend has the Shrimp Riscotto. She had eaten it before and said it was very tasty.I definitely had a decent serving of chicken but overall the portion sizes are small. My friend ordered brussel sprouts with her meal because she knew that she would still feel hungry if she only ate the Shrimp Ricotti. I had a salad with my meal and I cannot say that I was full! As stated, the portion sizes are smaller than normal.The total bill was $31 for 2 and we drank water. The atmosphere, food, and service were great BUT I felt hungry shortly after and wanted more food! ?Parking: There is limited parking; less than 20 and some are on gravel.
Looking for lunch on the road. Google reviews sent us here. We were very pleasantly surprised. The crawfish étouffée and blackened redfish was excellent. Wife had shrimp tacos that were very good. Seafood stuffed mushrooms were good and baked rather than fried, nice. Also the friendliest restaurant we've been to in a long time.

Food is pretty decent, always takes too long to get it, wait staff is always frazzled with maximum 4 tables sitting down, people get their food our of order, and I have been argued with over something that they should have just complied with, being that they gave me sweet tea and I asked for unsweetened, to which they argued that it was unsweetened, but I had both at the table and they were the same

Really good blackened steak. One of the few places in Brookhaven you can get a good steak. The onlu issue I had was that the baked potato doesn't come with sour cream. I know thats nitpicking but it was the only issue I had.

I was in the area, and was looking to try something new... I found this place and decided to give it a try... The lady recommended the meatballs over rice, and I must say, GREAT recommendation!! The meatballs, the Asian inspired sauce, and roasted carrots was so good! I was NOT disappointed! Will definitely be back!!
