Last time I ate here was yesterday. This was not my first time eating here but it was my first time eating here after a couple of years. Me and two friends of mine immediately got sick after eating the food. I am still feeling nauseous today. Our stomachs were in PAIN just an hour or less after eating there. We’re all still feeling a little sick today. The food was honestly not good so we didn’t even finish it to begin with. The girls there were nice to talk too though. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! We got FOOD POISONING!!!

The fried catfish platter was pretty good. The fish was very good but the fried okra was a bit tough. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Yes I will eat there again next time I'm in Brookhaven !

I’ve only eaten here two times and both times were at lunch and both visits were great. On my last visit I chose the two meat plate….I had the ribs, chicken (dark meat), green beans and fried okra and it was all very good. They also have a large pan of hush puppies….so, of course, I tried a couple of them and they were really good. Also, their bbq sauce is fantastic. I look forward to my next visit to Bowie Barbeque!!

Stopped by on my drive back to the Midwest. They had just opened when I arrived. I ordered the fish platter with fries and okra. While the okra and fries were ok, the fish was hot and fresh. I waited a few minutes to get my order so I knew it would be hot. I did not have the BBQ but folks were lined up for it. I would recommend the fish in the platter or poboy!

For cafeteria quality food, that is slightly warmer than room temperature and lacking flavor, the pricing should definitely be reworked. Customer service was below par. I don’t want to hear an employee complaining about how long her shift is going to be while I’m standing in front of her ordering.

Really bad food and very small portions.
Ordered the 2 meat plate. Got 4 slices of bland dried out brisket, and 9 slices of quarter sized oven heated sausage. It wasn’t smoked.
The sides tasted like they came out of a box.
Would not recommend.

Staff didn’t even get the sides correct. How hard is it to serve what’s written on the ticket? Spend your money elsewhere.
