Excellent food and service! I’ve lived in Bogue Chitto for 11 years and for some reason, tonight was the first time I’ve ever tried Catfish One. I had the seafood platter and everything was delicious. I called in orders for me and my family, and they told me 15 minutes. It takes me 15 minutes to get to town. It was hot and ready when I got there. It was still hot when I got it home. Excellent!
This is the absolute best catfish in Brookhaven. Never substituted with Tilapia, their catfish is always cooked to order, is always tender, is always flavorful. The staff is always friendly, too. Call ahead is recommended for faster service or wait in line. It's always worth the wait, how ever long or short. No higher recommendation possible. :)
Ordered the large popcorn shrimp, as I did about 3 weeks. The dish was good, but with Catfish One, the proportions may vary from time to time. This time I received a smaller portion than before. What's with that (when I ordered the same dish)?? The hushpuppies are the best, though.
