Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We dined at Cracker Barrel in Tupelo MS last night. We were immediately seated (4 adults and 2 kids).around 5:35. Waitress was there quickly & took our drink orders and brought them fairly quick. I remember checking the time (5:44) because my husband was looking at something that had to be ordered before 6. We ordered our food between 5:45 and 5:55. Approximately 25 minutes later she came and told him they were out of the fish he had chosen. So he chose something else. It was at least another 30-35 minutes later she brought our food out. My french fries were rather strange like they were coated with something. Sandwich was lukewarm. Everyone else said the food was good. I saw other people arrive after us, order, eat & leave while we were just waiting. All in all experience wasn’t the best and I might be waiting awhile to go there again.

I’ll admit it has been a while since we have been to CB to eat, but we still expected the same fresh, home style food. We were disappointed to say the least. I ordered the Homestyle Fried Chicken. The chicken was too tough to eat and about half the size it use to be. Everything was subpar. Worst experience at a CB.

I love the food, and the friendly staff, the store is awesome too.

Me and my son had the ribs and they were cooked by Ms. Joselyn that runs the night time production. FANTASTIC!! They were delicious and she always does a wonderful wonderful job

Sometimes it’s good, sometimes not. Our waiters have always been great. It’s an okay place to eat.

Reilly helped me with my to go order and she was so patient understanding and helpful with me. explain to me how to get a little more bang for my buck and i really appreciate her kindness and courtesy. she deserves a raise, management!

I talked to the lady from home office and let her know did they do a great job here in the young black supervisor always take care of his customers he does a great job I always go at least twice a week recommend it to anyone thank you cracker barrel.

Absolutely love this store and restaurant! Great store selections and can’t ask for better than the restaurant! Those chicken and dumplings are to die for and the Mac and cheese ! Oh my !! Thanks y’all for making my dinner fabulous!! Ariel was my server and Suni the fabulous cook ! A massive shout out to both of you!

Donavan is a excellent server! It was my first time dining here. The food was great very comforting and a great price. The gift shop is also awesome. I will definitely be stopping by when traveling!!!!!! Also the rocking chairs is such a great addition.

My service at Cracker Barrel 0395, in Brookhaven, Mississippi was excellent today. I had a waitress (pardon me) a server, whose name was Leah W. and she was the “best I’ve ever had” in all my years, at any restaurant. Her attitude, her greetings, her smile, her Service, everything about what she did was excellent, and she deserves recognition for it. And it’s not the first time I’ve seen her in there spilling out that same bubbly personality to every soul that walks through those doors. and I just had to say something about her, because I’m sure, that nobody else will ever see what I saw in her today. I worked in food service for many years. I worked at this Cracker Barrel years ago. And I have never encountered a waitress or a server with a personality like this young lady has, and she needs to go places. But as I said, at the very least, she needs recognition and deserves it!

This is one of the best Cracker Barrel restaurants that I have been in. The food was fabulous!! The waitress was so sweet and helpful! The restaurant smelled wonderful!! We will make this our favorite!!
