My family and I were visiting a friend in a neighboring town. It was her birthday so I looked up bakeries nearby which led me to Janie’s. I called and the woman who answered was incredibly kind and helpful, happily answering all of my questions! When we arrived, the location was very cool and the staff was very nice. The cookie I got for my daughter was great and my friend was so happy that we surprised her with some goodies from there, she was familiar with the bakery and apparently loves it! Super win! Also, my husband got the chicken on a stick, and it honestly was so good I wish we got two of them! Thanks for the wonderful experience! 🖤

I walked into sweets heaven!!!! 🤩🤩 The decor, the atmosphere, and all the yummy goodies were a nice treat today. I got a couple of chocolate chip cookies, a couple of white chocolate Macadamia nut cookies, and one brownie... Each treat was super delish!! Hopefully, one day, I'll be in the area to try that delicious looking chicken on a stick I saw in the photos!! 😉

When my daughter picked up the cake at the scheduled time at 4:00pm they hadn't even started making the cake and the cake was not ready till an hour later. Once my daughter got the cake home the whole cake had slid of the plate it is placed on and smashed into the side of the box. I tried to contact the owner and once she contacted me back she says once the cake leaves her shop it's the customers responsibility. Not only was my daughter's cake ruined from being damaged the cake taste was horrible. It had a burnt taste and the icing had no taste to it.

My wife placed an order for our Christmas party on Wednesday . She was told she could pick up the order Saturday (today) at 10. She arrived to pick the order, from Magnolia , at 11. She was informed that the order was not ready and would be ready later with no exact time able to be provided. The fact that they knew she would be there a minimum by 10, and didn’t call shows a lack of professionalism and respect for others time. Very disappointing to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time.
Awesome place to visit. Chicken on the stick is a favorite. Delicious pastries!! Such a variety to choose from. Can eat in or take out. Friendly service!! They have a menu on the counter. Breakfast & Lunch . So many vintage items to view. ❤
