First time patronizing this establishment, and I’m uncertain if I’d like to return. Although the food that was ordered was decent, perhaps a 6.5/10, the customer service my husband and I experienced was very subpar.

When placing the order over the phone, my husband wasn’t treated poorly by any means, but it wasn’t a great first time experience/impression. We chose to disregard the condescending tone that the order taker had and proceeded to the restaurant to retrieve the order, as we were told it would only take approximately 10 minutes.

Upon arrival, the window opened and there stood a young adolescent cashier who provided no sort of greeting. Instead, she simply just asked for the name… no smile, no warmth, no welcoming spirit, absolutely nothing. To add, I also refuse to excuse this behavior of a child or anyone who is old enough to learn and know the responsibilities of WORK. There are plenty of adolescents/young adults who are employed and possess amazing customer service abilities. However, the least one could do is SPEAK!

I immediately became annoyed because not only was this my experience at this business, this was actually the 2nd restaurant of the night where the employee acted in the exact same manner. I looked at her and advised that “it literally only takes a second to speak and greet your customer.” As she went to go grab the food, I began expressing my frustration to my husband, stating to him that I’m sick of spending money at places where we don’t even feel welcomed or appreciated. At this point (after the worker returned), I’m sure she noticed my irritation and I wanted to be sure that she knew that I wasn’t just being another “entitled customer,” but instead, understand that my “attitude” more so derived from my passion about being shown respect as a paying customer of their establishment.

While I don’t expect anyone to show me special treatment of any sort, I simply want and expect to receive good customer service, as I am spending my hard earned money that I could be splurging elsewhere. Greeting someone literally doesn’t cost a thing; it pays to be kind. And while I’m sure my few dollars won’t tremendously impact this business’ workflow operations, sharing experiences like mine hold these establishments accountable to make a change for the next individual. Simply do better!

After waiting over an hour po boy cold!! 2nd time shrimp po boy was stone cold. offered refund but declined ask for a few lbs crawfish and wanted to charge me thanks won't be back!!!

I am giving this establishment a one star rating because I can't leave a negative zero. By far one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. We ordered our food at 11:53AM (Half fried po-boy, whole fried oyster po-boy and 1 fry). We waited for approximately 25 minutes before asking about the status of our order? The lady at the counter said it's not ready, but I will ask about it. At that time, a guy came out from the kitchen with our food. He handed her the food with ZERO CONDIMENTS. When she asked for them she was handed 1 mayonnaise, 1 tarter, and 1 comeback sauce, ZERO cocktail sauce. When my friend asked if she could have sauce for me, she was told she could have it, but they would have to charge her. In what world do you spend $37.40 for a SANDWICH and don't even get the condiments that should come with it? I went back to the counter and asked the lady if my meal didn't come with cocktail sauce? She said, you didn't get any? My response was, no mam, I sure didn't. She knew I didn't, she just told my friend she would have to pay for it. She went to the back, got one container of cocktail sauce and handed it to me. She was quite possibly the rudest individual I have come across in a very long time and she was rude from the moment we walked in the door. The food was average at best and even if it was the best meal I'd ever had, I would never go back due to customer service received today. I work in the customer service industry every day and I know dealing with the public is not an easy job. However, there was absolutely no excuse for the poor customer service we received today.

I have been a customer since they only had 1 pot to boil in under the leaning shed.😁 this is the best place for seafood in Brookhaven. Any place you go can have good and bad days. I hardly ever have a bad experience with K&B. The staff is always very friendly, and most of them know my nickname when I go there. I spread my budget out around Brookhaven as much as I can to all the mom and pop restaurants. But when it comes to seafood this is the best. I had the fish and shrimp tonight and I was very satisfied with the meal. Also, every person working there is always very friendly and happy. Keep up the great work!

Went once and got a fried shrimp plate and it was great! That's what brought me back. But this time, they were extra skimpy on the onion rings and when I told the manager he responded, “uh it varies on the onion rings, there's no certain amount. Sometimes it's a handful, sometimes it not”. On top of that my shrimp were cooked to rubber. Like I said, the first time I went was delicious. But I won't play Russian roulette with my money. Not in this economy.
I got a refund and will not be back.

If you're looking for fresh seafood and Southern hospitality, this local gem is it! The kind of place where you feel like family the second you walk in. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection — You can tell they take pride in their food and care about their customers. Nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned cooking done right. We'll be back every chance we get! Patio seating is always my fav. Just need a little acoustic out there to top it off 👏🏼

I ordered $250 worth of food at 2:06pm. I was told the order would be ready at 5:00pm. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:45pm and left with our food at 5:30pm. Over that 30+ minute delay, I watched people come in, order, and leave with more food than our original order. I never post reviews good or bad but when I spend $250 on food 3 hours ahead of time, I expect it to be ready.

The guy who claims to own the place is racist doesn’t take ownership for anything they have done wrong! They are very rude to ppl when busy or feeligg no overwhelmed! The crawfish are good however the customer service is terrible!
