We ate here for the first time and I was impressed! Food was true southern soul food! Portion size was big, and it was delicious! We will be back. Workers were extremely friendly and I felt welcomed.

Soul food! Very delicious! It’s served cafeteria style or you can order off a menu. I got the “junk pot” (shrimp, potato, sausage, turkey neck) with rice and beans! It was all tasty, hot, and everything was clean. This is a casual dining experience. My meal with a large drink was $16. I’ll come back.

I have never eaten here but I see the reviews are great. I came home for a funeral and my son and I were headed back to Texas. He had a flat tire and stopped at a tire shop. We struck up a conversation with a guy who happened to be the owner and he invited us to the restaurant for a free fish dinner. We went but it wasn't open yet and we had to get one the road. I appreciate his offer and whenever I come home to McComb he has a customer for life. Thanks from my son and I.
