My water had a roach in it. The server was mad I ask for a reimbursement.

Customer service was great, but food was absolutely horrible. Shrimp was dry and had a weird flavor, chicken was spicy with a box like after taste, fries were rubbery and not good. Really wanted my money back after this visit.

Darwin, the manager is a bad excuse for manager. I requested Pico without jalapeño peppers and he refused to serve it.

It was ok...idk if I'll go back. The food was OK. Just not enough seasoning on the meat side. The atmosphere was ok. Good place to chill. The food take would have made it great but it just taste like something was missing..it was just ok if you didn't want to drive far.

The waiter staff were attentive and the food was very good. The main problem we had was the manager having a rude attitude and speaking it in Spanish (which he didn’t realize I am fluent in) whenever we asked if we could substitute one item for another.

This was always my favorite place to eat, until recently. In the past year tge prices have almost doubled and the food quality is awful. Tonight we ordered 4 soft tacos, I asked for them to add tomatoe and sour cream. There was no more than 3 little pieces of tomatoe on each and a tiny tiny bit of sour cream. They charged me 5.00 for added tomatoe, 3.00 for added sour cream. 4 little tacos cost 18.00 plus tax! I ordered the Salsa Special that was 9.00 less than a year ago is now 16.00. There was 2 small queso dips added, for a grand total of 50.47.
This is entirely to expensive. By the way, the shrimp on Salsa Special was so tuff you could barely chew them. Will find a new Mexican resturant.

On the road and looking for a Mexican restaurant. El Sombrero is pretty good. The service was wonderful and prompt. The atmosphere is exactly what you think it would be for a Mexican restaurant... Not a food chain but personal owned family company. TVs all around, good bar, plenty of seating and parking. Food was not bad, nothing wow. Didn't expect anything and ask for exactly what you want or there may be a slight let down...(No ice in iced tea). No sizzle on fajitas... Simple things. Coming from Texas, it's difficult to compare.
