I ended up getting yams. Mac and cheese, and cornbread. The yams were a tadbit too sweet but the mac and cheese was decent. I will definitely skip the cornbread muffin next time.

Bland! I’m sorry but it was bland, small container for the sides. Just not enough seasoning. Chicken was good and hot, greens were good, corn bread was different but good. My problem was with the bland Mac and cheese, the black eyed peas taste like a mixture of black eyed peas and baked beans, and the yams were bland, out a can maybe. 1st and last time probably.

I was happy to discover this gem. It is close to my mom's house so if she's not cooking, then im coming down the street. As a Mississippian, I pride myself on good Southern Soul food. And this is 1 spot that hits just about every box for me. They have seats for dining in & tvs. I went on a Sunday right before they were closing at 4. It's already hard enough to find a good soul food spot open on a Sunday. The staff took my order over the phone and I got there 15 minutes later and it was ready. I tried their fried chicken with some creamy mac & cheese & dressing. Now prior to this Ive had similar meals at other locations and was not impressed. This spot definitely made my visit! The food was so hot, good, and seasoned well; even my mom was impressed. So that's a great sign. I would definitely be back.

I'm trying to find a good plate lunch today and really wanted to order take out but I couldn't find a menu anywhere, I found 5 different phone numbers to make an order-all of which are disconnected and the only online presence is FB and Instagram and after using someone else to look up those pages-neither are up to date and both have the different numbers that are all disconnected. idk. I just really wanted to try it out.
