Portions are too small for the price. Full Moon barbecue in Madison gives you triple the portion sizes, including sides.

If you want great quality food, this is the place to go. I love their fried catfish the most. They use only Mississippi raised catfish. Their whole menu is worth trying. And they are some of the friendliest folks I've met in the business. We live nearby and I would say we eat there almost on a weekly basis. If you haven't given them a try, you owe it to yourself to do so. Great food and Fair Prices.

Me and my sister drives down from Arkansas just to eat at this place that’s a four hour drive for us the food is good and the customer service is top tier. We will be back soon!!!!

I am 68, and ribs have been one of my favorite foods all of my adult life. I rarely write reviews online, but I am compelled to recommend Down South BBQ & Burgers. Their ribs are the best I have ever had: almost (almost is the key) fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned perfectly. Try them dry first, but they have a selection of delicious sauces, too. Down South also has delicious chicken, brisket, and wings in addition to burgers and a wide selection of side dishes. The folks are friendly and well organized and offer a simple, immaculately clean dining area if you want to dine in. If you haven't tried Down South, I encourage you to do so!

I live down the road and always adore grabbing their food. Especially since the bridge down the road is closed, and it takes longer to get to food. It's so nice that they try to stay open later and cater to those of us on the weekend with special deals that are extremely affordable. This is a family owned operation, familiar faces, and that goes both ways. They remember their regulars and check up on us, making us feel like family. Their homemade cakes are delicious and the BBQ is right up there. BTW this isn't cash only! They accept cards.

Stopped in while visiting from Memphis because Yandell road was closed and what a happy accident. On a Friday, had the catfish plate with fries and baked beans. Catfish was awesome. Loved the fries. Everything was just right including the price. Five catfish strips, two sides, roll, large drink condiments, etc. for $16.99. Wow, enough to feed two people, but you will want to eat it all. Friendly and fast service, not too fast, it was obviously cooked to order, not pre done. Very pleased. Definitely recommend!

Order a rib tip plate and when I go home I thought it was a child’s plate. I literally had about ten little pieces of rib tips. Each piece was was the size of a 50 cent piece. And it had no taste. I was very disappointed. I’m trying to see how I can post the pictures

Come here if you want to meet REAL LIFE TIANA and taste her AMAZING, AUTHENTIC, FABULOUS, HOMEMADE southern food!! ?? My husband and I are from the west, so we were hoping to find some “legit” southern food while in Mississippi! THE LORD GUIDED US TO THIS PHENOMENAL RESTAURANT! We are it up so fast we didn’t even take pictures. GET THE DESSERT!

A little disappointed in this situation, I’ve only been here a hand full of time’s to eat. Staff has always been very nice, friendly, and helpful when I been in there. Tonight I ordered some wings and fries, the fries were salty, and one of my wings looked bloody. Price doesn’t match quality this time around.

Tried it out in July. Food was hot and fresh. Nice staff and really clean area! I love their wings and Nachos it’s in a pretty good spot too for a small business! Let’s get it out there!!!
