My husband and I had dinner there. We both had catfish fillets. My sides were fried okra and field peas. His were fries and baked beans. It was odd that the fish was served on two slices of bread. The cornbread was good but was served cold. The fish was good but had a slight taste like something had been burned in the oil. I asked for tartar sauce to help cover the taste. The tartar sauce was runny and sweet but okay (I think they made it fresh when I asked for it). The okra was good. The field peas were the best I've ever had. My husband said the baked beans were really good. The sweet tea was slightly off. The location was clean but slightly run down. It was mid afternoon and we were the only customers there. A few take out customers came in while we were there. For a supposed BBQ place there weren't many BBQ options. Mostly Southern food-fried chicken, fried pork chops, mac n cheese, veggies (nothing wrong with that. It's the best). We're from out of town but if we're in the area again I'd give it another try.

To say it was amazing is an understatement.. phenomenal is better. Four adults order different main and almost all the sides between us and not a bad item. Everything item was phenomenal... Mac n cheese, mash potatoes, green beans, Red Beans and rice, pork chops, and steak. We will be back to try the ribs next time!

If you ready to die and go to heaven with your belly full then you found the place. I got the Beans and Rice, Mac & Cheese and fried chicken. It was thr best meal I have had in a very long time. The lady at the counter well very friendly and good came out hot and quickly. Please do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, run to here. If you dont fall in love then you dont know true love. Get the greens too. 💚

The place had just open abor 2 hours. The tables were not clean. The food was not good. The young lady at the front counter was nice. They did not present themselves as a business. When you own a business are to dress like a business professional. I do not recommend anyone to this business.

The man behind the counter was very rude and had no professional skills when it came to talking to patrons. They didn’t have half of the stuff I ordered and then when asked about the items not available the man said you want them or not. Just because you are a business owner it doesn’t give you the right to be rude. My food was not up to par The chicken was extremely hard and just unacceptable. I did receive a refund but that’s not what I wanted.
Hopefully the next visit will redeem this one if not then I will move on.
