We ordered from here last night for our Thanksgiving lunch at work, and everyone who ordered the rib tips had to fight the dried out skin on top of the rib tip just to eat it. My plate looked like it had been dropped or mashed down, it was cracked and full of sauce all over it. The sauce from the beans had leaked out of the bottom of the plate!

Googled restaurants near by us and popped up Marlo’s Bbq.. reviews was a 4.9 an so we went. Food cooking smelt wonderful. Friendly staff. Atmosphere was bland but wasn’t there for how it looked was there to taste some food. Once food was brought out to us we prayed an dug in. My son said mommy tastes like your bbq chicken but 3xs better. Cabbage, yams, greens, red beans & rice , fried green tomatoes, cornbread, hamburger steak , bbq chicken everything we had Was DELICIOUS . Y’all did not disappoint. We will most definitely come back when we are up your way .

Pot roast was excellent. Cornbread was great. Peachcobbler had no flavor and was cold and too sweet. Placed smells good. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Maybe if the peach cobbler wasn't packed with sugar I'd give it a 9. Kids was playing but she told them to stop and take care of the customers. I would definitely come back. Jackson MS.

They had no ice for the drinks, there were ceiling tiles gone, AC was not working, and the food was terrible. More fat on my sandwich than meat. Really want to sit down in a restaurant and drink a cold glass of tea and eat some good food. Not here, period.

If you want a friendly staff and a lot of yummy soul food come here! The portion is large, and the owner is such a lovely person. The prices are beyond reasonable for what you get and I’m just really happy that I found this place in Canton so that I can come here for lunch more often. Please patron this place, these folks work so hard and deliver such a good product!
