Two Rivers is my top 3 favorite places to get a great meal with great service. Christian is the best server in Jackson metro, hand down! The only thing this place could do better is maybe change the carpet and the decor some, just to make it a little more modern. But at the end of the day, if they don't change a thing that's fine with me. Heck, they could bring in card tables and fold up chairs as far as I'm concerned! As long as the quality of food and service stay the way they are now, my family and I will be eating there for life!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our Valentines Day here, our hostess was amazing! We had the reddish paired with angel hair pasta topped with real crab meat! We will be back soon! ❤️

Two Rivers Restaurant at 1537 W Peace St, Canton, MS 39046 is a long-standing Madison County staple offering a classic white-tablecloth dining experience. The menu focuses on well-prepared American steak and seafood entrées, complemented by a solid wine list and quality cocktails. The atmosphere is refined without feeling pretentious, making it an excellent choice for date nights or special occasions. It’s an easy, straight drive down Highway 22 from Livingston and well worth the trip. Pricing is fair for the quality and service provided, and it’s clear this is a locally owned and operated restaurant that takes pride in consistency, atmosphere, and execution.

LaChelle was our server tonight, and she’s wonderful! She has a fantastic work ethic and personality.

I had the shrimp brochette, which was perfect. My husband had the special and it looked great. We’re so excited to find you!

Drinks were... ok. Seems there isnt a dedicated bartender. Or at least the night we were there.

Salads need more attention to detail. The wedge is lack luster. Higher quality ingredients and presentation would go a long way.

Chargrilled oysters were great. Blackened shrimp were perfect, the side alfredo needs improvement. Ribeye was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great!

Last the the burbon bread pudding for me was awesome, but it is a bit like custard. Made with lots of eggs and cream. As for the Burbon... i think they forgot it in the sauce, but again they way it was served was definitely my preference.

Overall service was great, especially being really busy, kept our drinks full, pre-bussed the table, got our order spot on.

Place is awesome, good people good staff. Shout out to Mandy the bartender and Emily. Someone actually covered my bill, guess they saw I was alone on Xmas so thank you to that person. Will definitely be coming back as a regular.

We had a 50 year class reunion that we celebrated at Two Rivers. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, seating 15 of us about 30 minutes later than our reservation, after telling us that if we were 15 minutes late, we would forfeit our deposits. He was belligerent to our classmate who had organized the event through the owner’s wife. This all occurred in front of a room full of customers.

Our servers were polite and attentive, and clearly embarrassed by the actions of the owner. They were the only real positive. We were shoved into a tiny room, that we shared with 2 or 3 other unfortunate tables.

The food is not bad, but EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. I got a wedge salad that was just your ordinary wedge with bacon, tomatoes, and blue cheese crumbles. It costs $18!! I also ordered a cup of gumbo that tasted like it came from a can. I couldn’t eat more than a spoon or two. My husband got a filet, which was cooked perfectly and tasted very good, but again, it was not worth $80.

This place is probably fine for a small group (if you don’t get stuck in the same room with a big party), and a special occasion where you expect to spend $50-$100 per person. But I would not recommend it for a large group. And I know you can locate restaurants in the area that have food equally as good, or better, for a much more reasonable price.
